1. Time to act against the Irish ignorants.
tiki ,   belgium   (07.12.18)
As the Irish have no problem using Saudi/Iranian oil or other products from politically incorrect countries, it's time for Israel to teach these part time moralists some lessons.

Stop them from using Israeli (high tech/medical) produce which they even don't know are Israeli.

Close Israeli market to Irish produce, throw out Irish journalists & ambassador.

Bread can be cut from both sides.
2. NO MR. LIBERMAN...
FO ,   Belgium   (07.12.18)
Shutdown the Israeli Ministry for Foreign Affairs, a total incompetent bunch of people, unable, unwilling, to proclaim Israel's rights in International Law. Namely that, and the GOLAN HEIGHTS, and the so-called WEST-BANK are Jewish-Israeli property since the 1922 decision of the League of Nations called the Mandate for Palestine, and voted unanimously by ALL the 51 members of the League. This Mandate became International Law, valid to this very day, can't be rescinded and is reaffirmed be Article 80 of the United Nations Charter! So forget about OCCUPATION, ILLEGAL SETTLEMENTS, and last but not least about a PALESTINIAN PEOPLE that doesn't exist, but are mainly the descendants of migrants from neighboring countries that entered Palestine during the British occupation, through none-guarded borders, seeking a better life in a country being developed by the Jews, while the "Perfide Albion" (the British) imposed a maritime blockade to prevent Jews fleeing Europe during the Nazi rule to reach Palestine, condemning most of them to death. Never heard an Israeli diplomat telling what is written above! Thanks to what is called 'HASBARA', in fact a perfect joke!
3. Even better: NOBODY visits Ireland/drinks their whisky! Try
(07.12.18)
telling this to "Am Israel" that gladly goes to Turkey because it's cheap enough.
4. CONSEQUENCES
Robert ,   Israel   (07.12.18)
Ireland should be ready to offer good jobs and salaries inside Ireland to all the Palestinians that are working today in the "territories" who will surely lose their jobs as a consequence of the loss of markets. The owners of those factories will move to other places inside Israel and will keep working. Palestinian workers won´t. So, the big damage will be for those Palestinians that come to work to Israel because they get miserable salaries while working in their own land, even if they are so lucky as to find a job there..
5. Ireland will enjoy the muslim takeover it has allowed...
DAV ZEE ,   Brookhaven   (07.12.18)
Goodbye Ireland, the muslims now own you...prepare to go from 2nd rate people to 3rd world status...and so richly deserved...

Ireland home to the STOOPIDS!
6. Israeli myopia
Meir ,   Beit Shemesh   (07.12.18)
To do as he suggests is myopic. The Irish think this, so let's get out, don't talk to them. The truth is, amongst the many failures of the Foreign Ministry probably because there is no full time Foreign Minister, is that Israel does not invest in trying to improve diplomatic relations with small countries like Ireland. As a result, the Irish think of Israel the way they do, instead of the way Cezech republic, or Tonga or Micronesia think.
7. The Irish people won't accept Jewish Nazism
Jeremy Kelly ,   Belfast   (07.12.18)
8. Suggestion
Jason, Ph.D. ,   Charlotte   (07.12.18)
Operating under the assumption that the Irish are acting under extreme ignorance and not Anti-Semitism, I think money and effort should be invested in sponsoring seminars that help to educate them on the actual facts. Now, I know that the Irish have been underdogs in history, but that is no reason to adapt the Palestinian side just because they perceive the Palestinians as underdogs. The truth is clearly that the Palestinians are victims of their own murderous society. Go show the Irish why. As far as cutting diplomatic ties, I really don't think it matters one way or the other. Given actual hard evidence, I would like to think that the Irish can be fair-minded.
9. how i would love to discover the cure to cancer
david ,   new york   (07.12.18)
but to receive the treatment they would have to go to Ariel to get cured.
the BDS people could boycott and die
(just a fantasy of mine)
10. The Israeli haters are nothing but suckers
DOV ,   USA   (07.12.18)
Hopefully there are Irish people who see this initiative for what it is.
11. The Other Cheek
Gavriel Rechov ,   Savannah, GA - USA   (07.12.18)
"We won't turn the other cheek to a country which boycotts us." - A. Liebermann.

It is a pity to hear Christian quotations in the mouths of relevant Israeli politicians, because they always show that they haven't understood its hidden meaning.

The strategy of the "Other Cheek, לחי," refers to the Roman way of waging wars, לחם, consisting in sending a second army to fight against the enemy after having lost one or more legions, and they did it without loss of time so as not to give them time to recover of the losses caused by the defeated legions.

The Roman peace, like the Palestinian peace, was based on the total annihilation of the enemies, as they did against Carthage and Judea, after which they erected lavish monuments, such as the Rome's Ara Pacis or the Titus' Arch.

Mr. Liebermann, your duty now is to lovingly offer Ireland your other cheek.

Will you be able to do it?

13. Ireland is Dying
Jake ,   Dallas   (07.12.18)
Ireland's birthrate is below replacement and immigrants, many from the third world, account for an increasing share of even that low rate. Ireland has in addition a net emigration rate, but the parties that leave are the native Irish. Ireland does well with their low tax rate and consequential US investments but they are dying nevertheless. Slowly but surely, Ireland, like much of Europe, is finishing itself off. This is a tempest in a teapot and in 50 years when Israel is strong, Ireland will barely exist.
14. Ireland, the beggar nation of Europe
Andy ,   Guildford   (07.12.18)
300 billion euros of European taxpayer money sunk in that miserable island....The only ones worth anything left long ago to America or the UK. The rest is useless. Can’t wait to see their next potato famine empty that dump, after Israeli and US business leave them. And there is no money left in Europe for those greedy beggars...
15. Quite an Argument
Jake ,   Dallas   (07.13.18)
That’s quite an argument. The Irish really have the gift of gab. But facts are stubborn things. The average Irish woman has less than 2 children and you can never make up for children not born. It’s too late Paddy. You’re done. Glad Israel (average Jewish woman has over 3 children) can provide a diversion. But it’s hopeless for you.
16. Criminalize import of goods from ALL of "Jewish State"

17. The Irish are ***ROTTEN CATHOLIC JEW HATERS*** !!!!!!!!
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (07.13.18)
18. This Boycott is Needed, worldwide
RBC ,   Baltimore, MD USA   (08.23.18)
This boycott is a nonviolent response to state-sponsored terror inflicted upon Palestinians decade after decade: military occupation, settler colonies, ethnic privilege, brutal arrests of journalists, constant & arrogant violations of international law - all this and more. Of course a boycott is in order.
