1. As a Jew I am ashamed that Israel should adopt such a law!
Marc ,   Toronto   (07.15.18)
"Part B of the section allows the exclusion of citizens from cities and towns based on their nationality or religion."
If that is not discrimination, what is it?
2. Knesset Nationality Bill
David ,   Haifa, Israel   (07.16.18)
If you are Canadian, then you have a vast land and can learn bagpipes and French and eat fresh salmon and keep out of the army. Leave us Jews to our complex homeland. When you stop being ashamed of us, then join us and contribute your sons and daughters to the front lines and maybe we listen then to your Westernized pseudo-liberal notions.
3. Ship of Fools
Disillusioned   (07.16.18)
Obviously we don't have enough international condemnation as an apartheid state, so we need to provide more fuel for the BDS movement.

Benny Begin's original bill was all that was required, but nope, the racist, fanatical, tunnel-visioned Bennett, together with the smarmy arch fascist Smotrich, have to dig our hole deeper.

We have been misled by an increasingly disconnected prime minister, who has become so infected with the power disease that he is prepared to sacrifice the reputation and well-being of the majority for the sake of a religiously fanatical and bigoted group which is doing its best to create more war and strife.

Turning in their graves will be Ben-Gurion, Menachem Begin and even Theodore Herzl. This is not the country they want. This is no longer a happy, secure country, but one of doubts and moral dilemmas.
4. Like Begin's Basic Law: Jerusalem...
Emett HaAm   (07.16.18)
This law stating the obvious for no particular reason other than 2 cover Bayit Yehudi's fetishist insecurity...will do great harm to Israel. ...in future when the United States and Europe pass populist (read: xenophobic) laws we will not be able to say a word because we will have our very own populist (read: xenophobic) law on our books!
Such a shandah we have no standards left!
5. As a Jew, I think the law is fully consistent with Jewish ..
Noam Arnop ,   Tel Aviv   (07.16.18)
traditions. In his Shulhan Aruch, Rambam considered black people, for example, as animals. We have the right to exclude animals from living in our midst.I know it is bad PR, but is certainly consistent with Judaism.
6. Unbelievable
Nice Bloke ,   Rochdale   (07.16.18)
Just when you thought Netanyahu had scraped the bottom of the barrel he somehow manages to go further down. As I life-long supporter of Israel I cannot believe the utter stupidity of this bill - a gift to the enemies of Israel.
7. Primary community?

8. The absence of this law has caused damage to our

country and to the Jewish people.First this bill then the sovereignty
