1. Courts can't rule against a basic law

The plaintiffs should be fined for filing a lawsuit without merit. Israel has no constitution that would allow the courts to throw out this law. The courts have in the past said basic laws are the equivalent to Israel's non existent constitution. As this is a basic law there can be no basis for a court to rule against it.
