6. Every democratic state is a "state of all its citizens"
And when a substatial part of its citizens feel that they're Palestinian then its an "Israeli-Palestinian" state. Either that or going undemocatic or divison of the land, including Jerusalem. What's the point in "having" East Jerusalem when a Jewish Israeli cannot enter its alleyways without getting into trouble?
Problem is only that giving away land won't satisfy the haters of Israel, it would encourage them even more. So the status quo must be preserved as the lesser of two evils. But the new law doesn't help there, it only exposes the weakness. A completely foolish law!
