that Israel is one of the few, if not the only country, that takes heat from most countries in the UN and many world leaders for just trying to defend it's borders. The same applies when the government announces Israel is a Jewish state. It isn't really hard to understand why...is it.

I can understand Arabs" frustration with the new law: "this is a Jewish state and who are you? What are you doing here?'" However, why Arabs demand respect from the state if they themselves don't respect the state? Isn't it weird? There are 13 their representatives in the Knesset and every one of them (EVERY ONE!) showed just open contempt to the state from which they demand equal treatment. They say: the new law is unfair to them. But I think if the new law would treat as equal those who risk their lives to protect it and defend ALL its citizens and those who do opposite - such law would be very unfair to first group of people, the majority of population.

We (I and they) feel equal to the sense that they use their profession to help others. I am sure that there are a lot more 'Arab' people in careers that are equal to Israelis.
