Why does anyone even listen to Abbas? He's wasted decades and accomplished nothing. He dreams of Arafat in his sleep and only wants to continue the 'gravy train' of skimmed millions from the PA. Suha Arafat is sitting on hundreds of millions of dollars yet nobody asks how this came to be on Arafat's tiny salary. Abbas is doing the same thing. Under the guise of 'resistance' he's enriching himself, his family and his cronies.

And the average Arab on-the-street doesn't seem to care!

As I recall, Israel has not fixed its borders because back in '48 the Arabs insisted that there were armistice lines.
Israel has been waiting patiently for 70+ years to agree its borders by negotiation with a consensus that it is around the existing lines but with land swaps.

Maybe the fat wussy Abbas can develop an augment for UN intervention in Israel on behalf of Palestinians. Because he knows that he loses more and more credibility by the day, as a pathetic little puppet for the Israelis. Eventually Hamas is going to exploit this and weaken his power base in the West Bank. Not even the shameless, stinking victims will be to stop this process. He NEEDS the UN to save his butt.
