it is obvious why the IDF is in a state of inertia when dealing with Gaza. The IDF and politicians should have one goal in mind and that is to protect the State of Israel and it's citizens. Allowing injured Arabs from Gaza to come to Israel for humanitarian reasons such as medical attention is noble, but to worry about squalid conditions in Gaza is idiotic. No matter what Israel does for these people their feeling have always been and will remain to hate and kill Jews.

The Hamas leaders are saying the number one priority is destroying Israel. Hamas gives lip service to the economy but a poor economy is something else to blame on Israel and rally the fighters.
