1. Jordan is the Palestinian state.

2. You mean like Syrian Palestinians
Rami ,   Helsinki   (09.02.18)
They seem to be very radical with or wothout money. Refugees don't shoot other people with artillery.
3. Wait for it.... here it comes..... the threat of violence.
David ,   Hartford USA   (09.02.18)
For the umpteenth time, the only thing the PA can do is offer up threats of violence. Maybe, just maybe, if the PA and UNRWA really used the money appropriately, for actual useful education and salaries for real work, then the state of affairs in the PA wouldn't be the terrible mess it is.

Instead, the money was spend on teaching, no, indoctrination, of school children. How many times were UNRWA schools in Gaza found to be storage sites for Hamas weapons? Dozens. How many times were UNRWA teachers caught teaching the demonization of Israel? Dozens. How many times have UNRWA school textbooks found to be Israel-basing screeds? Dozens. GET THE PICTURE?

UNRWA is a tool of the Arabs to keep the 'resistance' alive and well. Teaching co-existence is not what UNRWA does.

Let the other Arab countries pay the bills for the 'refugees.' Had their Arab BROTHERS in other countries really cared about them at all, they would have absorbed all of them decades ago. But that was never the plan. The plan, devised by those same Arab countries, was to use the refugees as a tactic towards the eventual elimination of Israel.

My grandparents were refugees from Poland and came to the USA with a single suitcase of clothes and almost no money. They worked their asses off and managed to save enough money to buy a small duplex in Connecticut. Their children, thorough hard work and study, became lawyers and doctors and businessmen. All done without the help of some money-pit UN organization.

These Arabs have 20 Muslim countries to choose from: some poor, some very rich. What did they do? They stayed in the refugee camps. Where was their desire to make things better for themselves? What did they spend their money on? Why wasn't education important to them?

The Swedes, the Poles, the Germans, the Irish, the Jews, the Italians, all came to a the USA with almost nothing and within a generation became productive US citizens.

No official bodies offered unlimited assistance to any of these groups.

Only the 'Palestinians' have had a dedicated UN department allotted to them and, since 1948, have almost nothing to show for results. 'Millions' of Arab refugees still exist? Not possible, unless this is the calculated outcome desired by the UN. And since the UN is the Arab-block's playground, this entire fiasco has been and is orchestrated by the Arab block.

Western countries should defund the UNRWA and let the Arab countries fully pay for it. The Arabs want to use the 'refugees' as pawns. It's time the west woke up and told them to pay for this game themselves.

It only takes a moment to realize that about the same number of Jews became refugees from the Arab countries they were kicked out of when Israel was declared a state. Yet all those Jews found an immediate home in Israel, as rudimentary as it was. The UN didn't come to their aid. Why is that?

4. UN has rrefugee agency UNHCR
Gene   (09.02.18)
Why UN needs two refugee agencies: one dealing exclusively with Palestinians and another - with all other refugees in world? It is not just waste of money, it is a mechanism to perpetuate the problem. The agency can exist only when the problem exists. UNHCR exists as long as there are refugees anywhere in the world, UNWRA - only if there are Palestinian refugees. Why do you think UNWRA functionaries would want to loose their job?
5. The usual load of baloney only the Euro-dhimmi can buy!
(09.02.18)
6. moishe rabeynu
moishe   (09.02.18)
nonsense. money aid fuels terrorists because leaders use funds for same instead of for people. time to get real.
7. Soon the arab refugees will be able to return to their
MadDad ,   Johannesburg   (09.02.18)
Motherland - Egyptian and Jordan
They have been milking the world for over 70 years to the tune of billions of dollars and have been an obstacle to peace
Let those who wish this travesty of a humanitarian organization put their money where there mouth is
8. Castrating UNWRA fuels radicalism...LOL.
tiki ,   belgium   (09.02.18)
Like they need UNWRA funding for that.

Funny people these palestinians, uh Jordanians who still dream of 'taking Haifa back.....'if only they would be strong enough.
9. ABOUT MUSLIM RADICALISM
Robert ,   Israel   (09.02.18)
Jordan's FM is a little bit confused. Radicalism doesn't depend on UNRWA's economic help. ECONOMIC HELP only creates dependency and lack of will for these people in order to start making their own nation . As long as they keep receiving money without working for it, why should they change the game rules?. It is easier to get free money than to have to work for it.
Muslim radicalism does not depend on the money they receive or not. Muslim radicalism is inserted in their genes and enhanced by their Ayatollahs and Muslim clerics.
10. There IS a Solution to the Refugee Problem in Jordan
EdwardNewYork ,   New York   (09.02.18)
It's bewildering how a person can be a refugee fro more than 50 years. Every civilized nation having taken in refugees has provided a path the citizenship. So the solution is obvious; make them all Jordanian citizens!!
11. I am also a refugee - why can’t i also have a luxury policy?
MadDad ,   Johannesburg   (09.02.18)
70 years of freeloading at great cost to the world has contributed nothing other than hijacking, bombing, ramming, stabbing.
UNWRA has bred leaders in murder and mayhem
Drain the swamp
12. US funds end for the Pals terrorism
BBB   (09.02.18)
Jordan can invite ALL the Pals back into Jordan.Great news!

Less $$ less pal terror.
( hopefully, fewer Pals in Israel.)
13. Muslim believers are violent with or without jizia money.
Brad ,   USA   (09.02.18)
They see western money as jizia which is tribute. They want sharia and jihad, so let's all keep our money instead of funding their sharia and jihad.
14. Muslim clergy & Muslim leadership fuel radicalism
C   (09.02.18)
islam is a warlike religion and jihad is a large part of it.
by its very nature islam is radical.
islam teaches hatred of the other.

muslims have been murdering each other and the infidels for many
centuries. they keep doing so even today.
15. Jordan the Pals are YOUR terrorists
BBB   (09.04.18)
you house, feed, and clothe them.
