If we change it to make provisions for the Druze then it really will be a discriminatory bill because we are saying we need to say the Druze are a part of this country but we do not say the same about arabs and other minorities in Israel. Assuming the Israeli courts say ok to an sections about the Druze only which is doubtful the international community will be up in arms because then it is seen as apartheid.
If the bill remains in its current form nobody is being discriminated against all we are saying Israel is nation state of the Jew nothing more.
If there are going to be any amendments it should be to say the civil rights of minorities are not affected by this bill and it must be carefully worded to make sure that equal civil rights can never be interpreted as a state of the citizens.
