3. just do it and get it done
(09.13.18)
because standing up to the boycott honchos is more important than not wasting resources on the depravate eurotrash honchos.
4. we should have passed on it
zionist forever   (09.13.18)
The thing will cost a fortune to lay on and the broadcasters will almost certainly going to come back to the government wanting a subsidy as they had trouble enough finding money for the deposit so how will they pay for the rest so probably cost taxpayers money. Its not a big income generator for the country as its a 1 day event and people do not come from overseas to watch Eurovision. There will be boycotts and no doubt performers will make political speeches. We have to let anybody under Eurovision rules who wants to come come even if they are members of groups like BDS. Last but not least this is going to take place over Shabbat and even if your not religious a Jewish state should not host such an event on Shabbat.
5. Surely Arabs& their Eurotrash lemming supporters see this
(09.13.18)
(Rightfully so) as capitulation of the “Zionist Entity”, kind of mini-BDS victory?!
I’m 101% secular, but I say : screw this (long irrelevant & boring/passé) event.
I’m glad that LGTBists are happy, but that’s a narrow target group...
6. How Warming a Welcome!
Brian Rose ,   London   (09.13.18)
How open-hearted we seem to have become! Yes, the Eurovision Song Contest is very expensive to host, but Israel should be proud that it has the capability and technology to do so. Let people come and see that Israel is hopefully, an open and welcoming democracy. And yes, I am a proud, lefty Zionist, and yes Iahave also worked on previous Eurovision Dong Contests.
