Such a shame that normal cultural economic and diplomatic relations since Marmara have never been fully rehabilitated

Trying to have any new mutually worthwhile engagement means we must have an end to Erdogans stop start senseless and incessant megaphone provocations and incitements just as a convenience to get some political PR points at home

It creates mixed messages and misunderstanding and in no way reflects the historically excellent relations between Israel and Turkey and Jewish and Turkish communities abroad. The potential relationship is too valuable to neglect and ignore

Post Marmara Erdogan declared Israelis and Jews were not welcome in Turkey anymore .and has NEVER retracted the statement

Until it is, sadly I after 25 years of innumerable visits to Turkey have never been back since

When will Israel ever learn that whilst you have a dillusional caliph, suggest that they steer well clear; how many times must Israel and Jews be at the receiving end of his racism and prejudice.

Erdogan the autocrat must be desperate for trade and investment. if he hates Jews that much you would think he would stick to his principles. don't associate. well, business is business even with Jews, distasteful to him as it might be. and Jews will deal with a 'mamzer' if profitable. a good match.

Why the surprise. Erdogan and Netanyahu are blood brothers. Both support illiberal democratic government. In any case, to coin a cliche, there are no friends in international relations, only mutual interests.
