Israelis should not have harassed this young lady .Also, this young lady should have had her papers in order and up to date ,failing that she should learn to speak some russian because russians in Israel never get harassed . We are not being told the full story here, just a one-sided account ,although israelis should learn how to handle matters with more tact .Finally , miss Alpenstein ,just like the rest of us, is not above the law and her visa must be up to date and valid .

Miss Alpenbein is offended and feels insulted and harassed ,but still finds time to pose for the camera.

Whilst the PIA are probably not exactly telling the whole truth in this case I am sure she is not the Little Miss Innocent she makes herself out to be. Many illegals are employed as domestic help.USA embassy and Nefeshbnefesh etc as do all foreign governments advise citizens to always carry passports with them in Israel.A driving license is not proof of identity.Being an American Jew in north tel Aviv does not give you immediate right to do as you please.

I am an American living in Tel Aviv for many many years. I do not know which is is worse, this girls story or the fact that this newspaper decided to print such garbage.

The conversation of the officers are typical topics of conversation. They said and did nothing wrong. Everyone talks about Trump and also tries to fix up their friends. I do not think I was in Israel for 3 hours before a cab driver asked if I was married and when I said no, he attempted to find a mate for me and I am in my 60's.

The fact that this girl did not have her passport, did not have a valid tourist visa and had not completed her papers with immigration is no ones fault be her own and she is to blame.

Perhaps she needs to return to her country where she is not a guest and not required to follow the rules. I can not imagine what would have happened to her if this was a country in South America or Asia.

The author of this "news" article should be chastised also for trying to turn this into an event worth printing. Ittai Shickman should not waste his 500 words on ridiculous content.

The officers did their job correctly, were friendly and courteous, the only comment I would make is their smoking..But again this is Israel and everyone smokes
