31. Israel is failing its people
LEv   (10.05.18)
The only people defending the government office are western born immigrants who think it makes them more Israeli to defend Israel no matter what. Actually it makes you the opposite. Find me an Israeli who trusts or even likes a government bureaucracy? You wont. Everything about this story rings true. Also if the government is so concerned about illegals.. why dont the go clean out the central bus station? ?????????????????/ Oh because they dont really care just promises at election time. Instead of harassing 5.4 anglos girls from teh US. how about you pick up the 6.6 Nigerian drug addict that lives with 6 other people in one apt in south tel aviv?
32. Poor little girl looking for her 15 nanoseconds of fame

Go home and gave a nice day. ISRAEL has too much in it's plate to deal with you and your sense of entitlement.
33. Americans
Sam ,   NYC   (10.05.18)
I wouldn't worry too much about it. Americans are generally divided into three segments: psychotics, neurotics, and morons.
34. Calif attitude won't work in Israel, not aggressive enough.
Michael ,   California, USA   (10.05.18)
To be on equal terms, she should have verbally challenged those policemen when driven to the station and later filed a harassment report against them to the top commander. That's how it's done in Israel, not in California.

41. To Miss Alpenbein :
BILL SHAKESPEARE ,   SAFED BARD   (10.06.18)
Dear Lady ,
Now is the winter of our discontent, we should love all, trust a few ,do wrong to no one. No legacy is as rich as honesty , organise and arrange thy papers and thus avoid a sea of troubles ...there is nothing either good or bad, but bureaucracy makes it appear so......

DA RAP ARTISTE ,   SAFED RAP HOUSE   (10.06.18)
There was a young Lady from L.A
Who was accustomed to always getting her own way ,
but in Israel they hunt
and are brutally blunt
they never say " have a nice day ."
46. ADVICE TO IMMIGRANTS
TEL EM STRAIGHT ,   SAFED HONESTY   (10.06.18)
When you are packing your belongings before making aliyah, make sure to not forget your passport and your precious belongings but leave your ego at home.
47. NO MORE NASTY COMMENTS
TEL EM STRAIGHT ,   SAFED HONESTY   (10.06.18)
What every potential new immigrant should understand and appreciate ,is that living in Israel is worthwhile but it aint always easy ,language differences and a different culture and mentality from those we are used to.Plus, sometimes heavy bureaucracy and frustrations, it takes a lot of determination and courage to adapt ,but adapt we must. To miss Alpenbein ,being stopped by police or Government agents is never a pleasant experience ,but they are just doing their jobs ,do not let it get you down !!
48. PIA
David Storrs ,   Sydney   (10.09.18)
The most worriesome part to me is the part about their being used to dealing with other populations. Maybe she has been lucky that she was American and Jewish.
