If, and I do mean if, this is true, those responsible should be punished in the same manner as Israel punishes a first-time rock-thrower terrorist. I do not believe it is a fair journalistic practice to spend the majority of the article on the Palestinian attack that MAY have caused this as a tit-for-tat. One sentence mentioning this attack came within such a period of time of the prior attack is all that is relevant. If they catch the perp(s) and are told the two attacks are linked, then that is news. Speculation is not.
A birdie like this can only be the work of a gifted Palestinian stone sniper. The settlers are only good with M16 rifles and handguns. Instead, Palestinians train daily by throwing stones from the very day they are born.
If it's finally shown that the thrower is Jewish, he would have to be sent immediately to a military prison to teach the inmates. The Romans had cohorts of "honderos" (spanish for slingshooters), much of them born in the Balearic Islands.
The Arab gets in an accident. His wife in dead he is injured. The best insurance from his recklessness and an assured pathway to a martyr status with a PA monetary compensation to follow is to blame a Jew.
