Another ceasefire, call for Gaza rehabilitation, Hamas gathers more arms and attacks again. Hamas leaders need to be locked up or the cycle will just continue.
To amass is one thing, to use successfully is totally another thing. Let's watch this play out and we will probably see more of the same from the IDF. A short action which will stop as soon as the the UN and Jews hating countries around the world call for a cease fire. Israel's leaders are more afraid of world opinion than they are interested in saving their country from being overrun.
"Palestinian factions are demanding an end to the Israeli blockade that strangled life and business in Gaza," the official told Reuters. That is what is written in this article. What the "Palestinian official" forgets or prefers no forget is that Gaza has another entrance. As big entrance as the Israeli entrance is. The "other" entrance and exit goes through Egypt, a Muslim country who profess the same religion as the Palestinians. But, Egypt keeps their entrance closed. Perhaps this "officer" should tell everybody why the Egyptian door is not a free entrance-exit from Gaza. Or, we would better ask Egypt why they keep their entrance shut for Palestinians and highly controlled. The answer is one: Palestinians are a pain in the neck for them too.
Let's take out enough of Hamas for other factions, clans, families, bands to start taking control of their own turf and to start cutting each other throats
Support everyone against all the other, keep them busy
The region will understand very well and Israel will have gained some more respect and deterrence
