These are just some of El-Ad's lies and distortions:
1.Homes are not haphazardly destroyed. If a place is illegally built, it goes through the court system. For example, Khan al ahmar went through 10 years of litigation, with Israel providing new homes (which most of the people accepted except for 38).
2.The checkpoints are to insure security and usually take about 5 minutes to go through.
3. El-Ad advocates for the destruction of Israel - his concern is not with Arab Palestinians.
4. He doesn't tell people that the deaths and injuries are due to violent rioting in Gaza or knife/gun/car ramming attacks in Israel proper or Judea and Samaria in which the culprit is killed in the commission of the crime or fleeing.
5. He misrepresents Gaza's situation. For example, he noticeably doesn't mention Hamas and its violence against Israel is the reason for its situation,and the money Hamas used for terror tunnels and rockets, and the ships which Israel caught that were bringing missiles to Gaza, which is the reason for the blockade. He doesn't mention that Abbas has cut power supplies, money, salaries, medical supplies to Gaza in a power play. Furthermore, Abbas prevented a deal which would help Gaza and refused to participate in the deal process.
