David ,   Hartford USA   (10.22.18)
Israel can cultivate other land to make up for it. It also has security mechanisms that weren't even dreamed of when this lease was signed. Let Jordan have their land- it will make the King's life easier. G-d only knows that his 'people' are always on the verge of cutting his head off.

Jordan gets its land, the King makes brownies points with his subjects and Israel can move on.

It's also high time that Israel expel all Arabs/Islamists from Gaza, Judea and Samaria, and the Temple Mount. That's Israel being sovereign over its own land. That's Israel being Israel. Do it!
9. LET JUST THINK ABOUT WHAT FOLLOWS !

In the preamble of the "Mandate for Palestine" voted by the League of Nations, is written that "recognition has thereby been given to the historical connection of the Jewish people with Palestine...". Palestine, Iraq and Syria-Lebanon were part of the "A Class Mandate", three counties considered advanced enough politically and economically that a provisional independence could be granted...". Jewish Palestine included the territory between the Mediterranean Sea, the east part of the Jordan River till the desert of Arabia and the Golan Heights. During the vote for the Mandate for Palestine, the 24th of July 1922, the British, who were chosen to be Mandatory, proposed that "in the territories between the Jordan and the eastern boundary of Palestine as ultimately determined, the Mandatory shall be entitled, with the consent of the Council of the League of Nations, to postpone or withhold application of such provisions of the mandate as he may consider inapplicable to the existing conditions...". This British request was accepted under Article 25. The League of Nations NEVER voted for the creation of another state east of the Jordan River. Born is sin, the British created an artificial and illegal country, they called Trans-Jordan (today Jordan) on 77% of territory reserved for the independent Jewish state. As there is no Mandatory anymore, in accordance with International Law (The Mandate for Palestine that can’t be rescinded and Article 80 of the UN Charter) Israel could request territory east of the Jordan River! The crazy situation is that Israel is hiring territory, being its own, from a so-called state that was created illegally.
10. The Land Belongs to Israel
Tova   (10.25.18)
It was never Jordanian Land. the Hasemite Kingdown stoled the land from Israel. Jordan never accepted Palenstinians because they know those people are not indegenious to region. Jordan refuses to accept Israel's sovereignty
of the Land.

We all know Israeli farmers cultivated the Land - which under Jordan control left the land barren. Now that Israel has prospered in the agricultural region. Jordan once again wants to steal the land.
11. Pressure from within
Mark ,   London   (10.26.18)
The king and government are very unpopular at the moment. There are demonstrations in the streets. The IMF is at the door demanding the end of more subsidies.

What better way to restore confidence in the powers that be than getting back Jordanian lands leased under an unpopular treaty. It's a very popular tactic to buy short term popularity.

I'd favour giving back the lands. in accordance with treaty obligations, and record them gradually turning back to the aridity mentioned.
