2. Hypocrisy
Robert Blum ,   New Albany   (10.25.18)
The hypocrisy of Islam, in this instance, Egypt, whose government has both supported and instigated on countless occasions, the murders of thousands of indigenous, Coptic Christians, is a ploy to put themselves in a better light regarding their insideous maltreatment of the Christians, in the minds of the historically-forgetful or uneducated masses.
3. The whole setup at the Holy Sephulcre is a
Naor ,   Jerusalem   (10.25.18)
Farce.each denomination is against the other each protecting its bit of terrotory- alterations for safety etc are at a standstill for years as no one can decide where an extra exit should be in case it infringes on someone else's property.chapels within are closed off to the public at the whim of the clergy. An outsider must hold the key to the door so no denomination has favour over the other.worshippers are pushed and pulled about because of the lack of proper organisation and the public toilets void of toilet tissue and soap are inadequate for the amount of visitors and a general disgrace. Now when repairs are needed so called religious lawabiding monks go on the rampage. The Egyptian government who normally regularly come out against the christian minority suddenly are up in arms- and as usual Israel bares the brunt.
As a tour Gide I have watched the police on many occasions having to control crowds, deal with unruly behaviour and generally keep this church in some resemblance of order especially during christian holy days.
And at the drop of a hat these religious close the church off to pilgrims who have paid good money to visit Israel because they don't agree with something.
Time has come for all tourist and religious sites to be under the control of the Israel tourist ministry.Let the monks burn their candled, parade up and down and live off the donations of honest Christians and leave the rest to government.
4. Well done israeli police!!
Tekila ,   Tel aviv   (10.25.18)
The egyptian monks are protesting the recostration of the public corridor owned by the Ethiopian monks for thausands of years in side their church as it fell down last year and the tourists couldn't pass through. Public safety comes first !!!
5. Just imagine what would happen if Egyptian police
Alfredo ,   Raanana   (10.25.18)
entered a synagogue in Egypt and a rabbi blocked their way?!
Agreements with the Crusaders, who were invaders/conquerors, have no
validity in the SOVEREIGN state of Israel.
6. Jewish Police Acting Like Pharisees
World Citizen ,   the world   (10.25.18)
Just like Jesus was beaten by Jewish Temple thugs. If the Christian fundamentalists could really know how Fake Israel feels about them, there would be chaos in those denominations. One day they will learn what their false prophets have told them. Then your useful idiots will turn on you.
7. Israeli Antiquities
Arnie ,   Montreal   (10.25.18)
The Israeli Antiquities has dedicated itself to preserve the history of the Holyland whether Jewish or Christian sites. A rock fell and Israel wants to be sure no more fall that could injure citizens or tourists. The infighting between the priests is their problem. Power and ego should not dictate safety.
8. Egypt policy only runs armoured cars over protesting Copts,
Steve Benassi ,   Minneapolis USA   (10.26.18)
kills dozens
9. Copts and Ethiopians fight over French Crusader Church
CatFight ,   Jerusalem   (10.26.18)
Built by the French Catholic Crusaders ..only thing they all have in common is their hate of Israel and Jews..let them fight ...
