1. So many hardships, why not move on toSyria or back to Eritrea
Steve Benassi ,   Minneapolis USA   (11.06.18)
I am shedding crocodile tears
2. Force them out and be done with it..
Al   (11.07.18)
We Jews are saps...cry me a river for these illegals.

Don't equate pity with stupidity.

They were sent to Israel in order to undermine ISRAEL.

They got to go!

Stop being stupid..show them the door.
3. MR
JAY ,   COLUMBUS   (11.07.18)
As with illegal immigrants here in the US, they mistakenly think the nation owes them something. Why can't they stay in in their own country and work to improve it? They don't speak the language or have any usable skills other than common labor, yet they think they are undervalued.
4. With my 15
Zoe   (11.06.18)
years experience helping with some Eritrean families, I can tell you that this article does not show the truth. I know one family - for example - who makes quite a decent salary and already bought some land in Eritrea for a far future. No Eritrean kid goes hungry. FAKE NEWS !!!!!!
5. Ethiopia and Eritrea have signed PEACE TREATY.No excuses to
Alan ,   SA   (11.07.18)
stay in Israel anymore.I think there is now even an airlink between the two countries.
If not let them go to South Africa where there are vibrant communities from their country.. They will find a warm welcome in SA .
6. There are more than "two distinctive black populations"
bobo   (11.08.18)
In Israel, there are also:

- the "Black Hebrews" of Dimona
- Black Bedouins in the Negev (descendants of slaves held by the white Bedouins)
- residents of "The African Quarter" in the Old City of Jerusalem (descendants of slaves held by the Ottoman, used to guard the Haram al-Sharif)
- black "Arabs" in Akko (descendants of factory laborers brought by Egyptian administrators in Ottoman times)
7. This is very very sad!
Talula ,   Tel Aviv   (11.08.18)
Yes they come here for a safer, and what they feel would be a better life - and it's very sad that it isn't. But the State has made an informed decision to let some stay, they KNOW the facts - they know that these people will never really be integrated into Israeli society - so at least help them a bit. Breaks my heart that the children suffer.
8. ISRAEL IS NOT THEIR HOME ERITREA IS SO LET THEM GO BACK
zionist forever   (11.08.18)
Even the UN now says Eritrea is safe to go back to but the fact is these people do not want to go back because as bad as thing are for them here its a better standard of living than they can expect to return to so they are essentially economic migrants rather than refugees.
The fact they have children born here is irrelivent, the fact you have children in a country your residing in illegally doesn't entitle you to stay.

The government has been offering them a one way ticket home and some spending money for years but they refuse to leave so if they insist on staying illegally let them pay the price.
Any luck the government will find a solution to get rid of them all without left wing NGOS or the leftist courts throwing it out.
9. Translation:
Brad ,   USA   (11.08.18)
The African "migrants"(illegal aliens) come to Israel for the same reason illegal aliens come to the U.S. They want free stuff. They want other people's money and property for free. Since things are so terrible for these freeloaders, in Israel (and in the U.S. For that matter), they need to get the hell out and never come back. They can go back to their beloved third world toilet that they came from and be happy again.
