Most Jews arrived in Israel in the late 1800s or early 1900s. Jews have been living in New York longer than that. Jews of Russia over a Century longer than that. The idea that Israelis are the authentic Jews is simply not true. Israeli Jewish culture is the newest of all Jewish cultures in the world. Almost Everything Israel has was imported by a Jew from another country. The flag, the anthem, the money to by the land, “Israeli” foods, Zionism itself. Show respect to the diaspora. Young American Jews are pampered. Their rich parents pay for them to attend elite universities and use their Jewish connections to land them in good positions in government and business. If they came to Israel they would have to serve in the military. This is something they would never do in the USA. They might even have to do manual labour during the two year enlistment or worse, guarding a hot, smelly dusty checkpoint on the West Bank. Another thins is they can't speak the language and they certainly won't work for the average Israeli wage. The best thing would be for their parents to buy them a condo on the beach in Tel Aviv and they could come over spend money to support the economy during the high season.
