Can Lieberman explain? Did Netanyahu pay too high a price? Is he now going to give Abbas Jerusalem and a right of return for an agreement there?

Why is the Trump Administration involved in talks and money transfers with Hamas, while trying to de-fund the Palestinian Authority? This must make sense to somebody. Is Trump going to recognize Hamas as the sole legitimate representative of the Palestinian people?

1.Negotiate a PERMANENT cease fire without which there can be no desperately needed reconstruction in Gaza
2.Allow PA representatives to have a say in the distribution of West Bank Palestinian Tax Payers revenue to fund Gaza
3.Cease ALL future blood money payments and fix TIME LIMIT on all others
4.Absolutely VITAL to establish easier links between Gaza and West Bank to improve trade and social mobility.
5.Negotiate additional 24/7 water and electricity availability into Gaza
6.Realise the potential for Palestinian and indeed Israeli Arab inward investment to enable the purchase of second homes, family homes, holiday homes and businesses
7.Ensure better and easier movement of goods from Gaza to ports and onward to export markets
8.Create joint formal PA/Hamas Stewardship of Gaza Holy Places and a new mosque dedicated to the places Gaza where prophet found inspiration to create Islam for the benefit of Palestinians and the wider Arab and Muslim world

Even these few small initial steps could improve things in Gaza a thousand times more than decades of conflict EVER COULD
