The operation was vital, but unfortunately it got entangled. Seven to ten Hamas members were killed in the incident. The State needs to keep somethings classified, and cannot release the details as to what cause it to undertake this operation. But to do so knowing that there would be a major retaliation is reason enough to justify their decision to opt for a cease fire.

Another war lost for Israel. We lost in 2014, now we lost again. All for not having completed our "job" at its due moment. When I say "a stitch in time saves nine", I really mean it. If the big stitch would have been done in 2014 and secured with a couple of tight knots, this war wouldn't have existed. Of course we have our politicians that are afraid of what will happen if Hamas was erased from Gaza. They might be right, or not, as Hamas exists right now and it is uncertain who will occupy their place in case they don't anymore. Hamas is real, now. The next "terrorist group" that might control Gaza is something that has to be dealt at its proper moment. We can not predict and study how we will act in an hypothetical case. The world is in complete movement. it is not static, so predictions are mere predictions which will probably have to be reconsidered permanently. Each situation has to be decided when its time arrives. At this moment our big pain in te neck is Hamas and its cohorts and this problem has to be solved once and for all.
If not, we will be at war with them again and again, loosing again the lives of our dearest ones.

... as he should be.

Gaza is not going away, like the Warsaw Ghetto did in 1943, it's Peace or another Holocaust, nothing in-between, time to decide.

Peace means the end of Greater Israel, end of the minority "Jewish State", true Democracy from River to Sea, Palestine Israel, 2 States 1 Country.

Just do it... you will like it better than what you have now. An economic boom for the entire region, the end of anti-Zionist Global Terror.
