1. Why Bibi did the right strategic move in not invading Gaza
Alan ,   SA   (11.15.18)
The Pals know that their control of the Israel-Pal relationship (which endured in its moribund peace- seeking status))is slipping out of their hands. Pres Trump administration is moving to coerce Pals to make peace'For this to work, the cooperation of other Arab States is indispensable ie Egypt Saudi, Jordan,Gulf States, Oman etc etc All want relations with Israel (at least their leaders do) The so -called March of Return and other chronic aggressive manouvers by Pals is designed to make it impossible for the aforementioned Arab Countries to cohabit with Israel.,let alone act as catalysts in Peace Efforts
Bibi know exactly the status of relations with these countries and he did not want to jeopardise his hard won good relations. by smashing up Gaza.. Bibi needs the co operation of these states as Pals left alone will do absolutely nothing to move towards peace
The almost daily nonsenses going on at the fence is designed to damage Israel -Arab States relations by allowing deaths of youths etc. We all know how relations with Arab States fizzled out after Gaza and Lebanon Wars ...The same is intended to transpire today.
In any case, after a couple of hundred Israeli Jewish boys fall in Gaza Battle, the same situation will return after the exercise. A waste of time and life..
What happens when the dog catches the car???
2. not "gamble" but FORESIGHT
Alexander Scheiner ,   Israel   (11.15.18)
To my understanding, our PM acted foreward-looking. He knows what a real military action against the terror organization Hamas will result in.

Standard practice of Hamas is, to hide behind civilians, preferably behind children. The result will be enormous numbers of victims. This is the policy of Hamas: THEY NEED USEFUL VICTIMS.

An additional benefit for Hamas will be that all blame will be on Israel and its government. New food for the anti-Israeli and anti-Semites.
3. The "ceasefire" "arrangement" doesn't have a snowball's
Shachar ,   Eilat   (11.15.18)
chance in hell. And nobody believe's it for a second. The south's residents are cannon fodder for Bibi's political needs....and if they are stupid enough to vote for him they will get even more of what they've been getting to date. This disgusting surrender to terror is straight from Bibi's book on fighting terror...NOT! Hamas is convenient for his political needs so the south can eat missiles.....that it all it is.
4. It's the ICC Stupid, Bibi under investigation for 2014 War
Steve Benassi ,   Plymouth, MN USA   (11.15.18)
... in Gaza, so he is being cautious, and rightly so, he does not want to end up in a Hague jail for the rest of his life.
5. Say it!
Joe ,   Gush   (11.15.18)
If you are advocating an invasion of Gaza say it. If you are advocating a subsequent endless military occupation as was done from 1967-2005,say it. Reticence is not a usual trait for a reporter.
6. The south and Jerusalem area suffer years of appeasement
(11.16.18)
7. "Peaceful Palestinians civilians" demanded revenge
Bar Star ,   Jerusalem   (11.19.18)
This is how this rocket onslaught started. Thanks to Eisenkot and his Chief Military Advocate IDF failed to deliver the revenge these Amalekites deserved.
