... Israel go for the F-15 SE, rather than the F-35. The IA has a wealth of capabilities the F-35 will never have. And Israel already has a well-established infrastructure to service the F-15 series. Some work on the F-35 can't be done in Israel, and Lockheed is still balking about some upgrades Israel wants to integrate into the plane.

Wow.
"It seems as though the Americans have agreed to supply Israel with the new plane on condition that it will continue purchasing the F-35 stealth attack aircrafts."
The US has a history of taking troubled platforms and after years, sometimes even decades, getting them right. Witness the Bradley Fighting Vehicle, Patriot missile system and the M-16 and its variants. The J35 is a good concept but plagued with issues: economic, logistical, political, and perhaps even military. The F-15 and F-16 would appear to cover Israel's defense requirements without the massive cost liability and problems inherent in the J35.

ITS A FAKE DIAMOND THAT YOU BUY IN A FLEA MARKET. THE IDF CALLS ITS FIRST F-35 SQUADRON THE GOLDEN EAGLE. GOD HELP US.ALL. ISRAEL WILL NEVER USE THIS JET IN HEAVY COMBAT THEY AFRAID TO LOSS THIS EXPENSIVE PLANE. ITS JUST FOR SHOW. I RATHER HAVE MORE F-16D'S AND F-15E'S. WHO EVER DECIDED TO PURCHASE THIS AIRCRAFT PROBABLY GOT AN EXPENSIVE ROLEX AND A TRIP TO VEGAS AND CASH UNDER THE TABLE.

F35 is the very expensive, complex one basic type suits all that is failing to satisfy each role it has been modified to serve.
