2) bibi is not able to handle hezbollah firing 10,000 missiles on the first 2 days of a conflict. he won't even attack Hezbollah fortifications on the Syrian Golan. he lacks guts. he is afraid to cross that line. he would sue for a ceasefire.

3) bibi will have Bennett twisting in the wind, one day clearing an illegal settlement, the next day blocking any new settlements.

4) Bennett and others have leverage-they could bring down the govt anytime. however Bennett does not want a left wing govt with livni lapid and gabbay for the security of Israel. bibi cares only about his survival. if he has to step down, he could care less about a left wing govt.

bibi is not a war fighter regardless of what he says in his speech. he has no desire to go all out which is what it will take in a major conflagration. Bennett should have firm for the defense minister job as bibi eventually would have caved.

looking at his performance in 2 conflicts with Gaza, his performance has been very weak. he sued for ceasefire early each time.

in any case kachon may torpedo the govt as bibi really is not deserving of more time at pm.
