1. BULL!
DeeEm ,   Ny   (11.21.18)
The flight was delayed because the flight attendants showed up 2 hours late. Maybe that had to do with the storm, but they shouldve been more responsible. That's not the passengers fault. And that video that supposedly shows the chareidim being violent? There was no violence. You cant see much going on on because the video is pretty dark, but theres no signs of any violence just a bunch of people yelling and screaming. BUT, if you look at theyeshivaworld website, you can see the REAL video which is a lot clearer and shows the chareidim SINGING, not yelling and screaming. The video was edited to make the chareidim look bad. Also, the pilot and crew LIED to the passengers and told them they were heading back to the terminal to let the chareidim off the plane, since it wasnt going to make it before shabbat. A few mins later, the plane took off. I'm not even a religious person, but this is complete bullcrap and fake news. YNET 'journalism' is becoming an absolute joke!
2. Offered to let them off than taking off is kidnapping
(11.22.18)
They lied. Knew they would not arrive before Shabbat and while pretending to allow the customers to exit the airplane took off instead.

If this was done to another religious group let alone minority this would be a major global story about targeting minorities.
3. thanks for reminding me why I do not fly EL AL.
(11.21.18)
the food is tasteless too. and don't blame my choice on imaginary boykotts. i buy israeli products when they are on the shelves at the grocery stores.
4. Arriving at Tel Aviv before Shabbat
Frieda Gilmour ,   Beer Sheva   (11.21.18)
The religious members of my family make sure that they never fly on Friday, just in case of delays. All datiim should do the same. The onus is on the individual, not the pilots or airline, which have no control over weather and other reasons for delays.
5. Try That On Any Other Airline
World Citizen ,   the world   (11.21.18)
They'll haul you off in handcuffs. Why do religious fanatics get away with such behavior?
6. MAY GOD HAVE MERCY ON US ALL AS JEWS.
oleg ,   Florida   (11.21.18)
THESE RELIGIOUS GANGS ARE MORE DANGEROUS THAN HAMAS. MOST OF THEM ARE NOT ISRAELI CITIZENS BUT USA CITIZENS. IF THIS HAPPEN ON AN AMERICAN PLANE THE POLICE AND THE FBI WOULD BE WAITING FOR THEM AT ARRIVAL. OR EVEN ESCORTED BY F-16'S TO THE NEAREST AIRPORT..SHAME, SHAME SHAME,

11. " We have problems with passengers "
TEL EM STRAIGHT ,   SAFED HONESTY   (11.21.18)
This story reminds me of myself. Years ago ,I told my mother : " Mom, I do not want to go to school today ,the children hate me and the Teachers say I am unpleasant and they do not like me " and my mummy told me " son, but you have to go to school " and I said to my mom ,No, I can not go and I cried bitterly. She said, firmly " buit you have to go to school " and I asked why must I always go ? and she told me " because you are the Headmaster ! "
12. I am quite sure
(11.22.18)
that all the aggressive passangers went easily through the famous El Al’s “security” control,
13. Let them have their own airline
Michael ,   California, USA   (11.23.18)
Let Haredim pilots fly and arrive in time for every Shabbat. Let them figure out how to be profitable. Let them take care of themselves.
14. What 's the problem?
steve ,   beer sheva   (11.25.18)
Let all haredim sign a form accepting that there is a risk that Friday flights may not reach Israel before Shabbat. Let them fly on Thursday..
15. This story is 2 weeks old
Maxwell Smart   (11.26.18)
Since then, the true story has emerged, which is reluctantly being publicized. El Al has agreed to compensate all passengers. Are they paying for something they are not required to do -- just out of the goodness of their hearts? After all this time has past, how about reporting the real story: El Al screwed up and tried to cover it up. So, the story of rampaging haredim was concocted. How about reporting what REALLY happened?
16. The problem was ELAL all along
Yosh   (05.13.19)
The delay was because the crew turned up 3 hours late after ALL passengers did arrive on time. The snowstorm started at 06:00, but the crew only ordered their ride to the airport by 15:00 instead of several hours earlier, which then was late obviously. They also took their time to get a coffee on the way instead of hurrying. They also forbade the airport to let the passengers on, which resulted in another 30 minutes delay. Being that late, the plane was standing for more then 2 hours without starting with doors closed. Religious passengers asked to deboard, so not to arrive on Shabbat. The pilot agreed, but instead of that, he asked the tower for permission to start. There was shouting, but only by the SECULAR passengers who wanted to fly directly, and not to Athens. This was the biggest blunder of ELAL, this had NOTHING to do with the snowstorm, and everything with the crew. They didn't even ask how many wanted to stay in Athens and ordered on 50 rooms, but 150 went off. Even that they botched.
17. Religious Jews are the reason why anti-semitism exists
Scott L. Havsy ,   Jonesborough   (05.14.19)
The same religious fanatics who disrupted an El Al flight will get on their hands and knees and thank the non-religious Jews who fly for the Israeli Air Force and defend the state of Israel on the Sabbath. It would behoove El Al to not ticket these types of idiots
18. we have problems with them here, there and everywhere, b4 ..
ofer desade ,   jerusalem   (05.17.19)
before shabbat, during and after, and regardless of where we're going. el al should stop winging and simply get these people of the craft and into the arms f the gendarmerie for creating a public disturbance - just as they would me if i suddenly decided to play god with the lives of others..
19. Haredim have taken over El Al flights to New York
Dovid ,   New Yawk   (05.21.19)
I am ashamed to admit that I gave up flying El AL because the hommies from Bnei Beraq was not chill. They be dissin and dismissin their own peeps
Seriously a PITA to fly with them... Translated to eBonics by Steven Wonder

20. Al El airline
Debby ,   Jerusalem   (05.25.19)
Should not!!....should not have any fighting with passengers ..iin opposite be polite and a little flexible for both side. God law or man law...try to make peace not war ! Change please.
21. Mrs
Patricia Barron ,   Katzrin,, Golan   (05.27.19)
This is so sad. They have forgotten that having such a "form"" of Religion, with no heart, is contrary to the Laws of HaShem. They should have been put off the flight, or not allowed to book a flight on erev shabbat....... shame on them.
22. El Al Has An Official Policy and Promise to Keep the Sabbath
Dovid kent   (05.30.19)
If you don't like it fine. Religious people will boycott El Al and sink it! A hearty chunk of change comes from those who respect Jewish law. It was a promise in writing and the policy of El Al. If not there are other airlines to pick. The word El Al is from the Bible and it means "On High". Corporations have to keep promises.
23. El A'ls fault
Chayim ,   Ny   (06.03.19)
All they had to do once the saw that they couldn't make it before Shabbat was to let the passengers who requested to disembark do so.
24. Bwahahaha!
Ma'az Kalim ,   SemLand   (07.28.19)
From avoiding to “desecrate the name of God” by self-censuring it very innocently to avoiding the “desecration of Shabbat” to even declaring “miscegenation=Holocaust 2.0”: Guess the Israeli lot are one genuinely funny lut!

Because as they say: "The true humour comes out best when you don't intend an iota of it".

Indeed. And I sensed whilst I'm quarter-to-doozy!
25. Guard Shabbat - Next time fly a day earlier or after Shabbat
(08.11.19)
Don't rely on the goyim to help you honor Shabbat. They have no clue that The Most High directs His people to guard Shabbat 4ever.
26. El Al should have let the Haredim disembark.
Joe Fraser   (08.13.19)
27. Ban the them from Friday flights
Daniel Shir ,   Fort Lauderdale   (09.06.19)
This is simple, do not allow these religious fanatics to board flights on Friday. Enough with all their BS. I do not fly ELAL because of these false talmudic barbarians.
28. temple emanuel
rachel shwartz ,   port jervis, ny   (09.16.19)

29. Hence the reason
Johny ,   J-M   (09.19.19)
