1. ABOUT HAMAS ESCALATION
Robert ,   Israel   (11.21.18)
The Israeli public demands haven't been satisfied until now. Things have been done according to a pseudo gentleman behavior from our rulers in what respects to a cease fire with Hamas. Something that made Hamas lough at us in front of our faces as for our ingenuity. Nothing has changed for good. We reached a status quo that only endangers Israeli credibility towards the Muslim world and the Occidental world too. Hamas, by now, perfectly knows that we only shoot at empty bricks while they can shoot at our civilians with almost no consequences to Palestinian lives. That is their goal. Everything that is being said now by our Government about our next reaction to Hamas, has turned into a fairy tale. Let's hope I am wrong.
2. Could it be that Hamas will get their snot noses bloodied?
Ken   (11.21.18)
3. enough
Marcel M. Pfister ,   Basel, Switzerland   (11.21.18)
It's high time to nuke these bastards and their rule over Gaza. Israel doesn't need to put up with with. For the sake of Israelis, non-Israelis and all of mankind. Get a hold of these gangsters and liquidate them, once and for all. The entire world will be grateful for it.
4. The truth lies somewhere in the middle, why ...
NYNY   (11.21.18)
there is zero evidence for incendiary kites, zero evidence for incendiary party balloons, zero evidence of rockets launched by Arabs.
5. Ya Basta
Chanan ,   Deland   (11.21.18)
we are sick and tired of hearing this. So far those that send such messages out for Mr Nut and Yahoo are just making fun of our intelligence. How about using the truth for a change?
6. FOR 70 YEARS WE ARE PLAYING WITH GAZA.
oleg ,   Florida   (11.21.18)
STRIKE KILL, STRIKE KILL, STRIKE KILL. VICTORY FOR THE PEOPLE OF ISRAEL WE HAVE TO PUT HAMAS AND THEIR ALLIES TO SLEEP.
7. Need to hit the real targets
Ralph   (11.21.18)
Gaza will always create problems. It requires cutting the grass each week. The real targets are the mosques, hospitals, UN buildings, charity organizations and schools. All of these targets will miraculously demonstrate secondary explosions when hit. The real target must be destroyed.
8. I wouldn’t count on that, but Hamas knows how to play us!
(11.21.18)
9. Israel's problem is never with Hamas, but with 8 million Pals
Khalid Amayreh ,   Occupied Jerusalem   (11.21.18)
who are less restrained than Hamas
10. One has to agree, the IDF can’t be trusted, ever...
Ken   (11.21.18)
11. There is no plan
shachalnur ,   mexico   (11.21.18)
Bibi's 'I have a plan' is the last desperate line of defense.
Just like Trump's 'plan'.
Hamas is begging for ceasefire?
Hamas is gonna be wiped out by this superplan of Bibi and the IdF ?
Your desperation shows.
And always remember that when the US's own existence is in doubt ,they'll dump the Zionist entity in a flash.
Ask yourself how Israel managed to maneouver herself in this situation.
Surrounded by millions of armed enemies on 4 fronts, not 3.
You became a suicidal sect,as programmed in 1897 ready to go in one glorious ultimate blow-up.
That's why Jews like me can't support you, this has to stop before you kill us all.
Zionism was always a political program from London to exterminate Am Israel.
12. With Bibi is in charge, Israel will continue to surrender
Larry Hendler   (11.21.18)
Bibi will warn Hamas over and over again that we will be serious next time. You want to solve the problem in Gaza? Start the massive slaughter of terrorists. Open Rafah into Sinai to allow civilians with nothing more than the clothes on their backs to live temporarily in a tent city. Supply everything that is needed for them to thrive, but make sure they are unarmed. In the mean time systematically destroy everything, killing everyone who remains in the strip. When the slaughter is over, bulldoze the strip in its entirety. Open the gates and begin the rebuilding. No cessation of military activities until the unconditional surrender of the Gazans. The world will censure us no matter what, so we might is well do it properly.
13. mr
steve gure   (11.21.18)
I have my doubts . The top IDF leaders are also polticians. They depend on them for their positions
14. leiberman and odeh
ray   (11.21.18)
the Israeli Arab dispute over the land is very very difficult. much blood has been shed over Arab rejection. their tactics are bestial at times. nonetheless, the idea that you cannot sit next to odeh is misguided.

first of all, if you want to understand your opponent, it is smarter to see them close up. views can change or not change over time. even if it was sinwar, i wouldn't object to sitting next to him. he may still want to make war the next day on my house., understanding your enemy has its advantages.

if he comes to plunder, you have a response equal or greater. in the meantime, sit next to him in common humanity. he may see you the Israeli in a different light over time. he may not.

15. Hamas and it"s "islam" following
Sjoerd van der Velde ,   Hoorn Holland   (11.21.18)
Let hamas and it's ''islam" following (almost 2 billion) go to Mecca. Medina and Riyadh, on the Arabian peninsula, where they belong. More than enough space.
16. Israeli deterrence credibility it completely shot.
5.56 vs. .308   (11.21.18)
I don't care what side of the political aisle you are on, left, right, Hezbollah or Zionist. By any measure, Israel's deterrence capability has been severely eroded by decades of hit-or-miss tactics and waffling on both the part of Israel's government, and its people.

Witness the 1950's, 60's, 70's and early 80's... when Israel got hit, it hit back 5x as hard. It didn't stop Israel from getting hit but likely kept terror and the actions of the Arab countries at a manageable level. It certainly caused Arab strategists to carefully consider the consequences of their actions and kept Israel generally safe and insulated from the Arab/Islamic horror.

The downfall of this deterrence capability arguably started during the first Intifada in the late 1980's, and was cemented by Israel's lack of response against Iraq in 1991 (Thank you George Bush, you clown. So glad Trump kicked your son's RINO a$$), and completely collapsed under the premiership of the "hero" Rabin who probably got more Israelis and Jews slaughtered by his connivance with the Clinton regime than any Israeli PM in history.

Oslo and subsequent events, led and orchestrated by the Israeli Left and their politically correct world view, had generally, by 2000, led to a defeatist mindset in the Israeli public, personified by the likes of Aviv Geffen, the ילדי אור הירח, and a generation of kids who no longer found the IDF a desirable right of passage; rather, something to be avoided.

The IDF's withdrawal from Lebanon in 2000, though likely warranted, consecrated this mindset. At the start of the 21st century, the IDF, that by 1967, had re-engineered and mastered the German concept of blitzkrieg, had become a shadow of its former self.

I believe the turnaround started in that same time when Arafat rebuffed Clinton and Barak's attempt to give Arafat everything, and a year or two later, with the ascent of Sharon to the throne, the second intifada, the Israeli "mainstream" began to realize that Oslo was a sham.

Unfortunately, the re-awakening is still a process in motion and Israel isn't quite there yet, however I believe a "Jewish Spring" is underway.

Force is the only solution to this conflict. Population transfer is the preferred modus operandi - bring Jews to Judea, export Arabs to Arabia, but until that happens, a blinding, crushing, murderous Israeli military response to each missile fired, each balloon launched and each terrorist hatched, will give pause to militants, organizations and some governments who have correctly concluded that at the present time, Israel is a Jewish punching bag.
17. It wasn't personal, it's electoral
Shachar ,   Eilat   (11.22.18)
Lieberman doesn't want to give Bibi and Bennett the picture of him leaving the Gov't to sit next to Odeh
18. Hamas has credit as long as Bibi is lending
Avi L.   (11.22.18)
Hamas has credit as long as Bibi is lending and since it is not his own "money" he keeps giving free credit

In the end it is Bibi's interest to have a non compromising enemy as Hamas in Gaza, it allows to keep the status quo indefinitely , no real changes

Some could even say that Hamas and Bibi are partners in keeping each other in power
19. moishe rabeynu
moishe   (11.22.18)
but not men, arms, money, purpose. get real.
