4. Gaza is the KEY
Sammy ,   Newcastle   (12.01.18)
Gaza holds 80% of Palestinian natural resources including coastline, desalination potential, fishing, offshore oil and gas, hub to North Africa and most important Islamic legacy...the holy place where the prophet found his inspiration to create Islam

Gaza is not landlocked and expanded by means of land transfers, exchanges and purchases could create a viable territorial entity potentially larger than Lebanon where new towns and cities could rise NEW Ramallah, NEW Khan Yunis, NEW Qalqilya, NEW Tulkarm...pristine and gleaming to herald a new dawn of Palestinian statehood and prosperity
5. Well said
Kabali ,   Jabali   (12.01.18)
Hagai, well said. Someone has to stand up and show a mirror to the society. I admire your couragesous work. It seems the whole world is drowning in ultranationalism, hardly anyone wants to hear the other side.
6. The Convenience of Forgetfullness
joseph goldberg ,   Gush   (12.01.18)
The problem we face today is a result of the Israeli withdrawal from Gaza in 2004 after occupying it since 1967. Had we remained, missles would not be raining on Israeli cities and there would be flourishing Jewish settlements within the Gaza strip. The decision was made incidently, by a right-wing government
7. delusional, counting double the number of pals?

8. Gaza is infected with the Hamas cancer
David ,   boston   (12.01.18)
I dont understand why the author focuses on the land went of theJordan. the reality is Jordan is Arab Palestine. the arabs in judea and samaria and Gaza are ruled by racist dictators. this is common in the Arab world. they ste no different. personally I believe Israel should completely cut off Gaza
there is no need to provide anything to it. I believe in the model of letting them kdvr open borders and trade through Egypt andCyprus. isrsel doesnt have connections to Lebanon norSyria. it's no different. Gaza could easily supply its water needs and electricity through desalination and solar cells within a year. the technology is available and the Arab league can supply. if at a future point Gazans want peace with Israel they can come to Israel. the author is correct about the duality. my opinion is there should be complete separation. the same for arabs living in judea and samaria in areas controlled by the pa. give them direct connection to amman and be done with it. the second option is to Annex all of judea and samaria. there are real people everywhere and real solutions. Hamas aren't real people, but a cancer. they will eventually destroy Gaza or be destroyed by Gazans fed up with them. Israel needs to just get out of the way and destroy the parts of its cancer that they to infect Israel too.
9. l think the author is smoking something illegal
Larry ,   LA (formerly)   (12.01.18)
The real truth is really different. The Israelis gave Gaza to the residents to have their own free state. They elected a terrorist group and they support the terror to kill us.

Israel would be pleased to have a friendly trading partner in Gaza but the reality is that they would prefer is to be dead...
10. Stop betraying Israel and its people
Alexander Scheiner ,   Israel   (12.01.18)
It is outrageous what this person is doing. It is absolutely not helpful for the well-being of Falastinian Arabs, on the contrary.

He seems to act on behalf of the PA and possibly Hamas. This person is the paradigm of a traitor. Fie!

He must be pilloried and boycotted socially, financially and academically.

For Zion

Total non sense. Israel is not responsible for the people in gaza. They have to defeat Hamas once and for all
12. It's a strange form of psychological, autoimmune syndrome
(12.02.18)
that afflicts many young Israelis, that have been exposed to the fallacies of postmodern relativism in independent thinking.
Deadly virus, as we all can witness by its manifestations in Machsom-watch, Breaking Silence, Meretz- the list is (too) long.
Only a head on confrontation with sane& healthy arguments can (maybe) cure this, but nothing's guaranteed.
13. Wholly Reprobable
Gershon ,   Shiloh   (12.01.18)
An absolutely condemnable article from start to finish, worthy of appear in any European newspaper such as, for example, L'Observatore Romano, El Pais, Le Monde, The Independent, etc., all of them fervent defenders of the Palestinian cause against the "ruthless and inhuman Zionist entity."

A very timely article at a time when prominent commentators from big news agencies are proclaiming that the future Palestinian state should extend from the Jordan River to the sea.

Really, I can not understand the reason why Ynet has published it.
14. Like urging Allies not be be macho with Nazis!
Chaim ,   Israel   (12.02.18)
This sick article has to be among the worst ever published on Ynet. Gaza "Palestinians" are bombarding Israel with hundreds of rockets, and this cretin urges Israel not to be macho with Gaza. Unbelievable! That is like urging the WW II Allies not to be macho with the Nazis. Israeli leftists are almost certainly the dumbest and most self destructive humans on earth. Patriotic rightists MUST govern Israel at every level.
