Since, at most, haredi educational institutions are funded at 60% of the norm, and no funding for college is allocated, the fact that it costs more to integrate soldiers before and after service makes sense. If the goal is to integrate and not discriminate, then the funds given, no matter how much, should be celebrated. But, of course, Yesh Atid wanted this study to castigate haredim, as usual. Why doesn't Yesh Atid do a study of how much foreign capital comes into the country as cash to fund haredi institutions, with no goods are services leaving the country. How about a study about the absence of crime, drug use or other societal ills in the haredi community? I wonder!
Whatever the answer, why must he or his family receive money and benefits that do not go to non lone soldiers? Is there any way to determine how these lone soldiers or Haredi perform in battle ?
