1. UNIFIL needs S-300s to Neutralize IAF violations of Lebanese
Steve Benassi ,   Plymouth, MN USA   (12.06.18)
... Airspace.

"The Lebanese government claims that Israel has violated the resolution over 7,000 times "by crossing Lebanese airspace," waters, and border on an almost daily basis since the implementation of the resolution"

wiki/United_Nations_Security_Council_Resolution_1701#Alleged_Israeli_violations
2. So cross-border attack tunnels are ok at the UN?
MadDad ,   Johannesburg   (12.06.18)
Or do they have double standards?
3. Please - save your breath.
Ralph ,   HOUSTON   (12.06.18)
In a good case UNIFIL is completely worthless. UNIFIL could not find sand in a desert.

diplomacy is one thing, reality is another. do you honestly expect unifil to neutralize the tunnel??? livni might? Bibi might. instead of attacking Bennett's wife, bibi would be better to unleash idf to take out tunnels norht and south of border when the time is right. in the meantime, seal the tunnels on the Israeli side. and warn nasrollah, if any attacks come, the bekka will be incinerated.

the good news is that bibi will have to step down with the indictments to come and bennett will take over. if Israelis vote for center left coalition, they want to repeat the holocaust, that is all i can say. no way on earth that i could vote for livni, gabbay and lapid. and gantz is not impressive as he was dragging his feet in the gaza war so i would not vote for him either.
bennett will take care of matters and return the idf to the offense.

with bibi, it is hide behind walls, and do the minimum.
5. Just another sign of weakness under Bibi.
DSM ,   USA   (12.06.18)
6. UNGA will pass resolution condemning Israel for tunelling
Alan ,   SA   (12.07.18)
from Israel to Lebanese village.. Motion will pass 160 to 6
7. Prelude to an operation
Ed ,   USA   (12.07.18)
First, you ask UNIFIL and the Lebanese government to take of the problem. When they don't, Israeli action is justified.
8. The Lebanese army to neutralize Hezbollah tunnels?
David ,   Hartford USA   (12.07.18)
Is Israel serious? Hezbollah BUILT the tunnels with army and UNIFIL help!!! If it hasn't occurred to the brilliant IDF commanders, everyone on Lebanon is conspiring to assist Hezbollah in harming Israel, from army grunts conscripted to dig the tunnels all the way to PM Hariri, the mouthpiece for the puppet government.

The ONLY option Israel has is to bomb the living crap out of every known tunnel. Lebanon declared war on Israel the moment the tunnel crossed into Israel. Stop deluding yourselves that anyone in Lebanon is looking out for Israel; not the government, not Hezbollah, and certainly not UNIFIL.

Any Hezbollah soldiers found in Israel can be attributed to UNIFIL not doing its job. So the real question becomes, what in hell was UNIFIL really doing all this time, playing deaf, dumb, and blind??
9. Outsourcing seems to be the game Bibi's playing...??!!!!!!!

10. Useless Nations will remain useless

netanyahu is using this diplomatic move to set up world community for
the upcoming war in lebanon.
those who accuse him of weakness or being a coward are insignificant
posters.
11. Israel should join people working to defund evil U.N.
Chaim ,   Israel   (12.07.18)
It is a big mistake for Israel to turn to the U.N. for any kind of help. This gives the U.N. legitimacy it doesn't deserve. The U.N., like the Nazis, is a vehemently socialist, Jew hating organization that wants to rule the world. Israel should join good people, especially in America, working the defund the evil U.N.
12. instead of israel taking care of it
rory   (12.07.18)
of course bibi runs to the UN, livni did the same. olmert asked bush to take care of the problem. it goes on and non. the un could care less about israel.
contrast this with sharon who asked no one. sharon was brave no question about it.

so one of the talk-backers wrote that bibi was a matkal sayeret commando, so obviously he was brave, and engaged in many missions. just because a person was in the idf does not make him brave. it depends on his performance. even being shot does not necessarily mean a person is brave. it depends what you were doing at the time. if you are lifting equipment in a boat, that does not constitute bravery. being shot by friendly fire does not constitute bravery. if you take down your opponent or try to disarm a bomb and are shot in the process, then that constitutes bravery.

the talk-backer was then invited to research exactly what bibi did in the commando ie his own performance. his overall reluctance is puzzling and at times troubling. in 2 Gaza wars he was like a stone. of course no direct launch against Iran. he is a talker, a man of words.

various people have called his military decisiveness into question-general dagan, diskin, lieberman, Bennett as do many Israelis. it is well known that some soldiers in past wars are so shell shocked that they cannot fight even if pushed to do so.

even now,, the tunnels are being smashed or sealed only on the Israeli side. they are not being sealed on the Lebanese side. asking the un to do it is a bloody joke.

why is it that i have no confidence in bibi militarily whereas i find Bennett 10 times the leader bibi is. why is it?

why this is so important is that a savage war is upcoming with Hezbollah and its backers. An Israeli leader has to be able to conduct an all out savage war, taking casualties by the hundreds and possibly more and going for the throat of Hezbollah and Lebanon. my judgement is that bibi cannot lead such an effort, not today and not tomorrow
13. you really think he is strong???
geroge   (12.07.18)
were you born yesterday??? you can wait for the messiah, bibi will not unleash the idf, not today, not ever. he only does the minimum at the last hour. ask lieberman, ask dagan, ask bennett, ask barak.
14. WHAT'S BECOME OF Ashraf Naalwa, the Barkan killer?
David ,   Hartford USA   (12.08.18)
Do not forget the victims. Justice cries out. People are harboring a murdering fugitive. They are accomplices to murder and should be charged as such.

What are the police doing? There is a murderer on the loose.
