Benny Gantz is not going to form a version of ZU with Labour because he wants to be 100% in charge of his faction and any formal connection to Labour is bad news which is why Lapid doesn't want to team up with them.
Gantz will run his party alone and may join a Labour coalition if the price is right.

Gabbay though should be careful about who he goes to bed with because in the polls Gantz was dong better than ZU and that was when they still had the support of Livni and the Hatuna MKS now they risk finding themselves in a situation where if the right does not win then Labour will be a junior player because they do not even have the support of Hatuna voters anymore.

When Gabay made the quote that the Left have forgotten what it is to be a Jew, in one fell swoop he lost at least half his voters but probably far more.
Gabbay tells us that is doing the Left a favour by leading them as his family is Likud and by leaving business and not making millions.
