2. dilemma
beryl   (01.10.19)
follow proper military rules is normal;however, being perceived as tough is also important in the minds of adversaries from nazis to anyone else. Jews are not perceived as tough far from it and that is why they are picked on.

recently, some religious said they are protected by their nuclear Torah. wrong wrong wrong. god helps those who help themselves. you want to pray 24/7, your gun should be near in case.

Jews have to change their image from submissive dzimmis to tough minded people who will beat the hell out of the opponents.

it is no good for a pile of dead Jews to have said we followed our moral laws of warfare.

i do not share gen yaalon and gen golan concerns about some of the conduct. you have an enemy that butchers Israeli babies and yet you insist on restrained polite military responses.

Such incidents are usually result of poor morale in the unit and could point to deeper problems of leadership, stress or conditions of duty. Punish the perpetrators, if found guilty, but ask why is this particular unit performing poorly.
