1. Interesting analysis
Grossmann ,   East Bridgewater   (01.17.19)
I think the author of this article reads too much into the Debka files
2. Tunnels found
One who knows   (01.17.19)
Because they wanted them to be found. Israel should watch out for much bigger tunnels. The saying : there is no more cunning than a maori dog applies
3. unfortunately this story is likely far from over...
Rafi ,   US   (01.17.19)
4. Remember Shalit was kidnapped thru one of the first tunnels
Alan ,   SA   (01.17.19)
In return ,the Pals gained 1100 terrorists who went on to kill, many Jews and lead terrorist gangs Also guys like Sinwar who became head of Hamas.were swapped. This tunneling business was thereafter deemed to be the way of the future.for the Terror Hamas and Hezballah. That is why today we have tunnels all over the place.... All was from the Shalit deal which a ynet poster called the gift that keeps on giving
5. The Iranian Nazi Shiast State
Tim ,   Brighton   (01.17.19)
Is becoming more of a basket case every day

As the world tries to move on, progress and advance..this backward, medieval and barbaric theocratic regime yearns for and almost daily spews out more puke..in their odious language of arrogant intolerance, racial and religious supremacy, conquest, empire, domination, execution, annihilation and genocide...

And yet...straw polls time and again show that the MAJORITY of ordinary Iranians - cultured, progressive, modern and tolerant...totally and utterly reject this regimes squalid ideology of blood lust..and totally and utterly reject the regimes costly hegemonic ambitions, corruption and profligacy which is slowly choking Irans entire future, its economy and any hope of prosperity and indeed the theocratic revolution itself to self destruction
6. The author is wrong, dead wrong!
IranMan   (01.17.19)
"I hope Israel eventually changes Irans regime but there is no guarantee in this Jews vs Persians standoff."

There is NO standoff between the Jews and Iranians. The only "standoff" is between the Iranians and the Zionists. Iran has been the ancestral homeland of Jews for more than 2500 years. Iran is STILL the homeland of the largest Jewish population outside Israel. Iranian Jews have full citizenship rights and are not being harassed as in the West.
