The days of colonialism are long gone. Unfortunately Arab dreams of grandeur and superiority over the West persist. These dreams are rooted in the desert creed and religion of death which sees itself at continuous war with the non--believer until victory is assured and the infidel subdued.
Confronted with the fact that there is a single successful democratic country in all the Arab/Muslim world is beyond discussion due to fear and political correctness. They can only blame the other when the problem is within. If you can't name the problem you can never hope to solve it.

In actuality the Palestinians live better than any of their counterparts in the Arab world, because they are offer freedom, capitalism and prosperity. None of which is offered in the Arab world.
