Poor "Arab states": they've been yearning & working for peace all these years and suddenly here comes big, bad Iran and reshuffles the deck.....

After the fiasco for the US that was the Iraq War and the Forever-War in Afghanistan, there is simply less and less interest in the West in dealing with any of the region's problems. Many progressives in the West feel that the region's problems should be solved by those in the region, without the West. It simply is not our job.

The Europeans have a lot of interests invested in Iran and only minor interests in Israel. So they murmur the words their arab and Iranian partners want to hear without actually doing anything.....that way they enjoy the best of both sides...

Maybe it's because they are not so progressive as they claim to be, but rather regressive.

Maybe they are not so open minded in finding a solution, but rather conservative in sticking to their old claims & views that where Jews are involved, Jews must be guilty.

There is a constant refrain about the dangers of the extreme right; well in the UK that is mainly represented by the new Fascism of the extreme Left as represented by Corbyn.Momemtum of the Labour.
They have no shame and even those rather silly mostly female Jewish Labour members of Parliament have been so abused without a peep from Herr Corbyn of the new SS (Special Service)...have to very careful or they may get offended.
