1. Why do they vote for Democrats ?
DSM ,   USA   (01.29.19)
Anti Semitism is alive across the world today. It is especially prevalent in the United States among liberal Democrats and therefore quite amazing the majority of Jews, many of them self hating Jews, still vote for Democrats.
2. Quite entertaining: antisemitism is TAKING root in left-wing

Yes there is an issue with the fringe NAZI groups, but stop calling them right wing. Just as the NAZI were big government socialist bigots so are today's NAZI. The conservative movement which is right wing is very proIsrael. It is the leftist (not liberals) that are the most antisemitic and biggest threat to Israel. While they are not as openly hostile to Jews as the NAZIs, the fringe right as you call them are a very small and very powerless group, esp here in America. But the leftist are very large and very powerful. If Trump goes down, they will have control of America. All the candidates running on the Democratic ticket are openly hostile to Israel: Harris, Booker, Warren and even Biden is showing hostility. Conservatives are Israel's friend, the left is the danger.
6. When you make Purim
(01.30.19)
When you make Purim of holocaust days, 7 times a year, people become bored and don't take it seriously any more. Only you to blame.
7. Do we REALLY have to physically tread the Polish soil in
(01.30.19)
order to 'remember' & honor our dead?
Nothing will make us remember Shoah differently and it seems that nothing will change the (average) Polish mind either...
Maybe it's not fair to the Polish nation as such to focus on a handful of thugs, (do we get equally enraged at the US neo-Nazis marching openly through American cities?) but with the Poles it touches different nerve...so it seems.
I could surely do without these trips and would leave it to the Polish nation to sort themselves out, one way or another.
Nagging them all the time doesn't seem to do the trick and in all fairness: it is NOT fait to single them out for the GERMAN atrocities!
8. A more pervasive threat from the left
David ,   United States   (01.30.19)
The facts the writer cites about those killed by neo-Nazis are indisputable although it is inexplicable why he chose to only give a half sentence to Muslims, whose adherents are far and away the greatest killers of European Jews.

However the greater threat to Jews comes from political antisemitism. The writer states, "Anti-Semitic views with the Muslim community are undeniably prevalent, and the same is true for some elements in the British Labor Party, left-wing parties in Ireland, Spain and Italy. The leaders of these parties and left-wing movements, however, are quick to condemn these views."

The marchers in London did not condemn some elements of Labor; they condemned Jeremy Corbyn. Polls of Jews in the UK show that if Corbyn became PM, almost 40% of UK Jews would ‘seriously consider’ emigrate.

“When people hear the kind of language that has been coming out of Labour, that’s been brought to the surface among Jeremy Corbyn’s earlier speeches, they cannot but feel an existential threat,” ex-chief UK rabbi Jonathan Sacks told the BBC.

Harassment and assault are only one danger to Jews. Policies that imperil the safety of the Jewish homeland are far greater threats. Left-leaning governments such as Sweden's carry a strong bias against Israel, overlooking to an unacceptable degree the people who surround it with the threat of genocide. If the Jews of the UK flee to Israel under a Corbyn government, they will face the wider threat of leftist government policies against the Jewish State.

10. a lot of Poles are anti-Semites
Ex Oleh Chadash   (02.01.19)
there is a lot of anti-Semitism in Poland. I have Polish citizenship, despite this the Poles refused to rent me an apartment. When looking for a flat, or a room to rent, landlords ask lots of invasive, personal questions, then for no reason, they decline, refuse to rent for you. They say a lot of excuses: I've already rented to someone before, or ... I do not know if the current tenant will renew the contract ... You are over 40 years old... I rent only for young people, students...
I am a Polish citizen (too) but I can not settle in Poland. Can't you believe? It's true.

Then, if I use my passport to settle somewhere else in Europe, they complain: "the Jews don't love Poland" , we are ungrateful - you can hear stupid things like that.
