Maybe if these idiots sat at someone's kitchen table something could be accomplished. As for Abbas's behavior, typical: you can't teach an old dog (or an old terrorist) new tricks.
Until the PA holds free and open elections, nothing will improve. It's time to literally throw out the old and bring in the new.

Let's face it Abbas, does not want peace, he doesn't want a two state solution. He has been in power for 50 years and is still pushing the same old rhetoric that hasn't worked.
Anyone who wants peace should sit down and exchange views and words from both sides. A debate is about the debaters and the ideas.
Rami Levy will be more successful than Abbas as shared experiences and economic outreach will be more successful than Abbas plans.
If we were to initiate a two state solution, how would these neighbors survive together. Just dividing land with lines does not make people get along.
Abbas needs to go away and new fresh politicians need to replace his old outdated ideas.
