The polish government did not open and operate concertation camps, but some of the polish people did a lot of harm to the Jews living there.
I know of a woman who was supposed to be protected and hidden from the Nazis by a Polish family. She was multiple times raped and beaten by that family. She ran away and was taken by some other Polish people who also raped her. When I met this poor woman in the 70s, she was psychologically badly affected by what she had experienced.
