1. It's always 'for the good of the country':-) Anyone still
buying that shtick?
People go into politics "for the good of the country" (never to stuff their own pockets& ego) and stay in politics forever, of course: "for the good of the country"!
All right, it's easy to be cynical.
Do I have a better advice how to run countries?
Nope: we're stuck with that class of people that are willing (DYING) to rule, "for the good of the country", what else?!
2. "For the good of the country".
tiki ,   belgium   (03.04.19)
Israel is ranked the 8th most powerful country in the world, place 9 with the best health system and place 11 with the most happy people.

Bibi Netanyahu & Likoed should stay precisely there to lead Israel into an even brighter future.

For the good of the country and it's people, the Israeli left should stop badgering this PM who for years is 24/7 available/working for his country and so pink champagne & cigars and are a small price to pay and a few positive articles in a hostile press long overdue.
3. I will never tell any Israeli how to vote ..I dont live
Al   (03.03.19)
On Israel but my kids do.

Much unlike the average American Canadian jew I got skin in the game.

I will leave it up to those who live in the country to determine their future.

What I can tell you is that the feelings of the American Jewish community is worth shit in the final analysis. They were never there for the Jews of Europe. Where the f were they in the times of Obama?

Today these dummies are front row and center in the fight against Trump.

They dont have your back.

Your best friends in America are the Christian right.

You don't see it.

The reason you don't see it is because being the schnorrers you are, you're afraid of finally determining your own destiny.

It's time to take that teat out of your mouths and stand on your own.

You don't have to apologize to anyone.
4. Equal before the law
Volvi   (03.04.19)
If everyone is equal before the law and no one is above the law including a sitting PM, why does he not share the same presumption of innocence as everyone else has until proved otherwise in court. He is innocent until proven guilty and no reason for him to resign. Period.
5. Leftist deep state must be destroyed for good of the country
Chaim ,   Israel   (03.04.19)
For the good of the country, the P.M. who is largely responsible for Israel's flourishing economy, and growth by almost all relevant metrics needs to continue as P.M. until a gutsier patriot rises to take his place. For the good of the country, the leftist deep state behind the ridiculous pseudo legal hoax to oust Bibi must be destroyed. For the good of the country, destructive leftists must be replaced in all key Israeli institutions.
6. Does anyone seriously believe that Bibi will resign???
Shachar ,   Eilat   (03.04.19)
The man will do absolutely anything to stick to the PM chair(and stay out of jail) . What we need is PM's limited to two terms only.....Bibi said exactly the same....before he became PM
7. Netanyahu should resign
Ilana Kraus ,   Kfar Sava   (03.04.19)
Well said. It is always better to leave when you will be remembered for the good you have done. Not only the country, by the Likud would benefit. Please don't make the elections Bibi vs. the judicial system, the left, the media, etc. The people need a leader who upholds the rule of law, free press, and free speech.
8. this writer should resign
dave ,   tzfat/phila   (03.05.19)
9. Leftist deep state should not be allowed to succeed
lal ram ,   Wolverhampton, UK   (03.07.19)
Whatever faults Bibi has, he is still the best P.M Israel has, there is nobody around who has the same calibre and brains he has. For the best of the country ppeople should support him. Destructive left are Israel worst enemy.
