Israel may not be/become (too) dependant of the US militarily. It is better that Israel is independant from any country and does not need the US, for example. The US think first of their own national interest, just like any other country. Israel must always keep it"s sovereignty of it"s own territory and people, despite the presence of foreign troops, even if they are friends. Goes for any other country too. Unless the people decide/want otherwise democratically.Of course countries can learn from eachother (in friendship).
