Whilst its possible the Gantz might come out of the election leading the largest party unless he can form a coalition but Netanyahu can then the president will have no choice but to appoint Netanyahu PM.
In 2009 Kadima won more seats than Likud but Livni couldn't form a coalition but Netanyahu could so he was given the job of forming a government and same can happen again.

Gantz will not get the hared parties into his coalition because his partner is Lapid, the nationalists also will not join Gantz.
The only ones who will defiantly join him are Labor and Meretz and possibly Moshe Kahlon will join him if the price is right but at the end 9f the day for Gantz if Likud does not join him his only possible hope of getting the minimum 61 is by forming a coalition with Joint List assuming they want to join him and if he did it would destroy his credibility and neither Gantz or Lapid would have a political career beyond 2019.

Far to early to tell but Netanyahu has a much better chance of forming a coalition because unlike Gantz who just tried to form a single giant party Netanyahu has worked with the various right wing parties so he isn't relying on Likud success alone.

A vote for Gantz is a vote for more dead Jews in the streets of Israel.

Gantz is dishonestly trying to portray himself as a centrist, but there is not a particle of difference between his stinking agenda and that of Labor or Meretz. Gantz wants to drive Jews from much of Israel. Gantz wants a "Palestinian" terror state, which would turn Israel into a 9 mile wide concentration camp. This fact is obvious to any child capable of reading a map of Israel.

The defeat of leftist parties does NOT reverse the immense damage they do in just one term. Thousands of Israelis, maimed and murdered by Labor's Oslo, did not spring back to life when Labor was defeated. To this day, Israel STILL suffers from the Oslo Abomination.
