Just the numbers indicate that there was no actual danger for Israel by the riots. There is even a huge fence between the rioters and the security forces.
I dont think there are "war crimes" involved, but i think that, when it comes to crowd / riot control the IDF is utterly incompetent. They simply dont know how to respond to such things correctly. Maybe its time to bring over some expert from Europe to teach the IDF and the Police how to properly deal with riots.

I dont undertand why Israel always falls for these obvious Hamas traps. Everytime the Hamas has problems with their rule, they need some Gazans shot by israelis. They orchestrate these events just to get gazans killed and they can always count on the Israelis to the Job for them. When does Israel stop to play Hamas games and start playing by new rules. Since the 90s Israel always did, what Hamas wanted them to do.

I suppose the UN wants Israel to have open borders so that terrorists can come into Israel, kill some Jews and then go back unhindered to Gaza.
