Why isn't Israel the one making demands on Hamas? In what universe does a terrorist gang order a sovereign country to do anything??

The government introduced legislation to bring in foreign doctors to force feed hunger strikers after Israeli doctors refused to do the job.
There have been hunger strikes since the introduction of that legislation and so far the solution everytime is to try and do a deal no force feeding which leads to more hunger strikes.
Force feed them even once and they will see the tactic doesn’t work.
I hope this time the government doesn’t cave into Hamas demands and either starves then out or bring in a foreign or Israeli doctor to force feed.
