They were caught in a lose/lose, political mess. They were under intense pressure from human rights groups for years before doing anything and the truth is, administrations change, and sentiments change. Trump administration won't call the occupied territories occupied, but other administrations have and even put a hault to them. Even Trumps grand Golan announcement, I read it wasn't even legal. The U.N. came out with a report pretty much accusing Israel of war crimes, I understand. There is not agreement.

They are a business, they were trying to do the right thing. They weren't discriminating, they aren't anti-Semitic.

Not taking money directly to profit sends a powerful message, not everyone thinks the settlement movement is right, legal, just, in occupied territory.

This way the lawsuits are over, they can get back to their business.

This is still unfolding with the anti-BDS legal challenges in the U.S.
