1. Why Israeli Arabs stayed away.
tiki ,   belgium   (04.12.19)
Not because 'Netanyahu & his clones but because of Zoabi, Tibi, Zahalka & their clones who care more about palestinians & smearing Israel than their voters.

It's time for Arabs to look invert and ask themselves why they never move forward.
2. An old story: Arabs always blame someone else
Steven Gilbert ,   Teaneck   (04.12.19)
Never take responsibility. Clearly the voters see no value in their own representatives. They're just PA stooges.
3. Truly Disturbing

We are in exile and awaiting Moshiach. That is my belief as a Jew and Judaism is about our relationship to G-d, Torah and for me, the deeper mysteries. Kabbalah should have been embraced more, age appropriate, to nurture Kavannah and spirituality. We are the People of the Book.

We were given a piece of historic Palestine (see Golda Meirs passport, it says Palestine) and the people there were never to be displaced.

It was not all given to us, and because it was given it was 'acceptable' to push waiting for Moshiach aside.

It was not a land without a people, there has been Israeli aggression, look at Deir Yassin.

We are here for Kiddush HaShem to Sanctify G-d's name, and the Arabs are also children of G-d. Push ahead, annex West Bank, occupy another People, if you think this is not harming the Soul of the Jewish people, you are wrong.

If you actually care... more Emunah, faith in Divine Providence. We are Jews. HaShem is calling on us to return.
4. Not in line with the facts
Fred ross ,   Brookhaven   (04.12.19)
The fact is that Bibi has funneled more money in to the Arab sector than any other PM. The fact is that the % of Arabs getting a higher education has increased significantly during Bibi's reign.
5. "islam" Israel"s Arabs stayed away....
Sjoerd van der Velde ,   Hoorn Holland   (04.12.19)
We can consider that many of the Israel"s Arabs belong to the "islam" following. "islam" (dictatorial and criminal) and democracy unfortonately does not go together. Nobody and no institution discriminate them. They dicriminate themselves from the rest of the Israëli people. They are free to participate in their country, also having Israëli citizenship. Nobody is above the law. In the 22 Arab countries there is a whole different other situation. In this case, the best they can do, is to end, to forbid and to destroy the criminal "islam" ideology and participate, just as the other people in Israel. Not only speaking Arab, but also Hebrew. To adapt and to be loyal to Israel. If they do not agree, they must leave Israel and all go to Mecca for ever (almost 2 million, about 20% of the people in Israel. Same goes for the "islam" Arabs in the Golan Heights, Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and the Gaza Strip. Problem solved.
6. Democracy means you can choose not to vote
andy ,   Toronto   (04.12.19)
Israeli Arabs can do anything they want in the only democracy in the Middle East. Like every other citizen of Israel, whatever their religion, they are free to have any job they want, live wherever they want, think whatever they want, go to any schools or universities they want and have universal health care, unlike any other country in the region. This article is not journalism based on facts, it is an opinion piece. I am surprised at Ynet for publishing this piece of biased bigotry as if it was factual. Was a poll taken to ask the Arabs why they did not vote? Where are the tabulated results?
