Parties are going to wring him dry for everything thing they want- he might be celebrating now but what cost to the country???
3. Kadima did better than B&W. Where is it now?
Chaim ,   Israel   (04.10.19)
Gantz and Lapid are deluding themselves. As the article notes, at the end, Blue and White's "success" came entirely at the expense of other collapsing leftist parties. Kadima did better than B&W. It once elected more MKs than Likud. Where is it now?

Gantz and Lapid's commitment to "make life miserable for Likud" is not worthy of respect. They are supposed to be dedicated to serving Israel. Blue and White will probably be gone within two election cycles.

when they were blowing up thanks to Oslo... I cannot stress how elated I am today to see Meretz and Labor hanging on by a thread at 6 seats. Jubilation indeed!

To Meretz and Labor I would like to say... you should understand these results implicitly, and with lucid clarity, as a referendum on your horrific political decision to wed yourself to Arab nationalism and the historic lie of "Palestine."

The decision to enter into Oslo, and those of the subsequent years, have demonstrated what is all too often a historic propensity, of Jews to blame themselves for the torments of their persecutors. To listen to the likes of Yossi Beilen and, back in the day, Shulamit Aloni, castigate policies and outlooks that sought to bolster a strong, expanded Jewish state - was absolute nonsense; shrill denouncements, and cries of "racism," at anyone who disagreed with the notion that perhaps the Golan should not be handed over to Syria.... Labor/Meretz, you've gotten what you deserved... banishment to the political wilderness, irrelevance in affairs of the modern Jewish state and above all, a national consensus that you have no business managing the affairs of the state.
Enjoy your solitude, your place at the margins of government. You've earned it!

not for the purpose of hindering Bs work but to advance what your voters hoped you'd be able to do as leaders

Right wing is no trash. My Nephew was doing his PhD and was told to sound like a leftist if he was going to get tenure at the academic world. Coming from the Likud core voters, each time he opened his mouth, he crossed his fingers behind his back. He told me once, all I had to do to sound intelligent was to fake my political views, Among fakes, behave like a fake. Left is the real trash pretenting to be something they are not.
8. If Gantz wants to remain in politics Lapid must go
zionist forever   (04.11.19)
If Gantz wants a long term political career smart move will be to ditch Lapid & Ya’alon now.
Ya’alon was always there for ceremonial purposes just the was. Lapid was there to do the dirty work as he had the political experience Gantz did not and he was expected to do well on his own.

He was in reality a liability because the haredi parties said many times they could work with Gantz but not Lapid,

Election is over Gantz is in politics now and his silence tactic which worked do well will not work again, next time he will be judged on political achievements and it won’t be an anybody but Netanyahu election so he cannot count on the tactical voting again by the people who just wanted Netanyahu out and thought Gantz had a better chance than their preferred party.

Better Gantz gets rid of Ya’alon and Lapid now try look like a PM in waiting rather than Lapid partner.

10. The honorable way.
tiki ,   belgium   (04.11.19)
For a blue & white party boasting about them being more civilized, it was sad to see how totally uncivilized they behaved when it was clear Netanyahu, Likud & the right wing block were up for a huge victory.

Lapid started shouting that 'he would make life bitter for them from the opposition.

Gantz was babbling nonsense all together, nearly equaling his victory speech.

How do you recognize someones personality?
Through his anger & loss!

Likud didn't take the victory from them....the Israeli people did.
Netanyahu won... because he had something to show for.

This honorable party turned honorable people into sour lemons who forgot to congratulate the winners, as civilized people all over the world do!
11. Ganz & Lapid....as politicians totally miscast.
tiki ,   belgium   (04.11.19)
Lapid is like an arrogant spoiled child, who get's nasty when things aren't going as planned.

Gantz is like a robot doing a job he was send to do and babbling nonsense when left on his own.
12. Only traitors would from day 1 make the PM life "difficult"

Maybe try to work for the people instead of against them.9

Which means, don't assume that you have won, before the final count is in and it has been checked and double-checked. Blue and white - you only showed how childish you are - celebrating before it's a fact.
