Mr Kahlon lost many seats for his broken promise to first home buyers. In 2015 he went on the ticket of subsidised housing to first buyers by way of lottery. My son believed him and gave him his vote. I sent $60k for the deposit. Three years later he won the housing lottery in a remote suburb at a price that he could have bought three years earlier in the centre of Tel Aviv.

3. Botton line..Israel is doing very well thank you very much
Al   (04.12.19)
Israel is well on it's way to becoming a very wealthy nation.

That's the bottom line

The people have spoken. They want Bibi
6. Are you sure we live in the same country?
Pravda ,   Tel Aviv   (04.13.19)
This election was about integrity and making this torn country whole again. It was about healing our ties with the Jews of the diaspora. The middle classes are not thriving and Kahlon's every moved served no one better than the tycoons. He turned the job of Minister of Finance into a radioactive position. This country is really hurting, there is a frightening brain drain and money is moving out at an alarming rate. The State of Tel Aviv is getting tired of supporting Bibi's supporters. The days when English readers bought pretty articles tied in a bow are long gone. Please stick to the facts.

8. Your fantastic analysis :))
dov ,   TLV   (04.13.19)
You wrote: Analysis: To a thriving and growing middle class, Netanyahu's argument that he would change little made him a more appealing prospect

Look at the map where Likud won: Beersheva, Sderot, Ofakim, Netania, Or Akiva, etc...

Are you seriously speaking about "thriving and growing middle class" in those places?!

I believe you should take a short tour into those cities to check your fantastic analysis.

9. elliot engal
jay   (04.12.19)
jews living in israel will determine their pollicy. not well intentionned but ignorant american jewish congressmen-engal, ted deutch, nina lowey and brad shneider. their 2 state concept does not undderstand that arabs want to erase israel. they have no interest in a state, zero.on top of this, there is not enough room for 2 states unless you have jordan and israel shared 50/50.

so engal and others should shut up and mind their business.

threats to bibi are unwelcome period.
10. mustaches vs baby facd
ilya   (04.13.19)
in order to strengthen the image of the idf, i propose that male idf soldiers wear mustaches instead of appearing baby-faced.

this will present a stronger idf image to the Arab onlooker. appearances also count.

grow mustaches please!
11. Is there another country called Israel perhaps?
Daniel ,   Jerusalem   (04.14.19)
Israel's "middle class" is not thriving. In fact, analyses by the OECD have repeatedly shown that the Israeli middle class is in fact far smaller than that of other member states. The cost of living is continuing to rise and salaries are not keeping pace. Benyamin Netanyahu may have brought many good things to Israel including security, but prosperity for the country as a whole has not been one of them.
