Up until now ,the vast majority of american jews naively and arrogantly imagined that it could never happen to them,as if they are special,but this murderous and evil shooting at a synagogue in San Diego should serve as a warning that american jews, jews in the " Goldeneh medina" ,are not immune to being targeted, sorry to say. I am sorry ,and deeply ,saddened by this awful attack at the synagogue in San Diego, at the end of Passover. I am also not surprised, not at all ,as jews have been targets for 2000 years and more .I suggest that american jews be alert and on guard at all times ,and the best defence is to be aware that it can also happen to you ,G-d forbid,so be on guard.
