Israel has many war wounded and victims of terror so it's obvious why more Israelis take pain medication. The failure to differentiate between dependence and addition is a major failure of western medicine. It's horrific to think that people who need pain killers for pain should be denied their meds. Addiction is when people are taking these drugs to escape life whereas pain patients want to live a decent life. The Misrad Habriut would be wise to have pain patients as part of their studies on this subject. i FOR ONE WOULD BE WILLING TO PARTICIPATE ON HOW TO MAKE THINGS BETTER FOR THOSE WHO NEED PAINKILLERS
