1. Pray and be conquered
DSM ,   USA   (05.24.19)
The Muslims failed to conquer Europe centuries ago but now will do so by gaining entry under the guise of refugees and will over populate the locals and eventually rule Europe.

Likewise the ultra orthodox, who would rather pray than fight, will out populate the secular Jews and be an easy take over target by hostile Arab countries. Prayer really did Jews a lot of good during WWII didn't it.
2. Stanley Cohen @ Facebook
Hello   (05.24.19)
You made your position clear " Mizrahi, you can have them"
Now this is what Mizrahi think about you: 6m in 1945 would have yielded 45m in today's numbers of the most despicable evil creatures to put up with.
Bless his name for redeeming us of this punishment.
3. All humans are created equal. Only humans make it otherwise.
(05.24.19)
Religious laws can be amended or abandoned. Where would women and men be without each other. Freedom. Please.
4. What About Us?
HaMakom Nisraf   (05.24.19)
What about Israel's Jewish society? What about the people who have come from across the world to be Jews and live among other Jews under Jewish Law, who have arrived to find homosexual pride festivals, prostitution, bribery, and all else that is antithetical to Judaism? Where is their voice? Which of you will write their article?
5. Say this about Arabs, and then look at yourself in the Mirro
Ex Haredi ,   Jru   (05.24.19)
You would never write what you write about Arab citizens, so I will take your article as bigotry
6. Secular Zionism lost its way. Haredi have a vision and ....
NYC   (05.24.19)
help their people live their lives. Where is the help for secular youth even after serving in the army, where is their University education, where are their jobs and future. But the Haredi will help their people at every step of the way.
7. Secular are putting ultra-orthodox in their coalition
Sam ,   Montreal   (05.24.19)
Netanyahu could choose Gantz but prefers ultra-orthodox, so, who is at fault?
It's been this way for a long time giving the non-zionist ultra-orthodox power over the country.
8. As noted by the author, seculars are majority, but if we do
(05.24.19)
not manage to use it to defend our freedoms then by Jove, we deserve Men in Black and all that stems from their dark ideology!
9. All totalitarian movements enjoy short (relatively) periods
(05.24.19)
of power and manage to subjugate vast segments of society to their dark & insidious ideologies.
Then the pendulum swings back and boy ; does it hurt when it hits on the head!
Religion(s) are no exception to this rule...
10. If this continues, this country is doomed
Disillusioned   (05.24.19)
I'm just thankful I'm in the last phase of life. To have to see this turn into another Tehran in the next 15 years would be too much to bear. These throwbacks to the middle ages will never be able to defend the country and the thought of seas of black garments everywhere, of streets without women and male domination is just too horrible to contemplate.

What the holocaust and war after war didn't do will be done by primitives without a clue about the real world and the danger that the people of this country will face with nothing but 7000 year old words on scrolls to rely on.

For that, we must thank the worm that has sold his people down the tubes for the sake of his golden crown.

11. Take hareidim and reform out of equation go middle ground
(05.25.19)
12. The article is full of anti haredi stories most being untrue
Secular liberal   (05.25.19)
The secular part of society has been complaining for years that the orthodox are not part of society, now when they are starting to come in the secular are the upset that they are keeping their culture and not becoming secular.
13. good luck with that/ god was a woman
(05.25.19)
14. Breeding Like Rabbits They Will Control ....
World Citizen ,   the world   (05.25.19)
And Drive Out The Secular

Sucking the benefits out of taxpaying Israelis until the hardworking flee the country. Orthodox Jews won't fight as WW2 has shown. This is a good thing for Palestinians and Hezbollah. They only need to wait.
15. Columnist Friedman doesn’t like comments so blocks
Freid-brain ,   Jerusalem   (05.25.19)
Comments that don’t follow the Post Zionist Party Line
Hello Freid-Brain “ Orthodox” Jews include the “Traditional Jews” who certainly don’t by follow the liberal Jewish heresies or you’re brand of Western Sick Secularism
16. Right vs Left will end soon. It will be secular vs religious
(05.26.19)
This country will turn into another Turkey, and you moronic secular right wingers are too blind to see it.
17. Some things wrong about this article
David ,   New york   (05.27.19)
1. The majority of Israelis are not secular: religious and traditional Jews outnumber seculars
2. Zionism has nothing to do with equality between sexes: it has to do with Jews returning to Israel (Zion). It is also not a secular movement, though it had predominantly been composed of secular Jews, it always had a religious component
3. Haredim (and even modern orthodox) in the US do indeed go to sex separated colleges (eg touro and Yeshiva university)
18. Orthodox imposing their will?
(05.27.19)
They only wish to follow the book norms, no will of their own. It's the other way around, the liberals wish to impose their will. If you have no jewish idealogy, you have no bussiness imposing your will there because in doing so you will only destroy what is jewish.
19. Another free rant -- move on
L ,   Lod   (05.28.19)
Absolutely no point in this article. We heard it many times before and it's like seasonal articles. No substance. And of course, no, the secular society is
definitely not under attack. Nobody is attacking you, chill out, unless you feel the urge to visit Mea Shearim in bikini.
